That is for sure SIG. Suppose to be a couple of days with the cold. It is bright outside but I am grabbing my scarf and I have gloves stuck in a coat pocket before I go out.

Winter always finds us at some point. Stay warm.

50 here today, but probably going to have more rain by this afternoon than Sigs and Kiki are going to see until the end of march, then it's back in the low 20's tomorrow.

At least we keep getting warm enough days to melt most of the snow before we get pummeled again this year.

I plan on it. Scarf and gloves on stand by for my walk this morning even though it is bright out. There could be a cold wind.

This cold is here for today and tomorrow at least. Have to see about the rest of the week.

Out for my walk in a minute. Just some errands and things I forgot yesterday.

Didn't do anything today even though it was warm ... and wet.

Got about 4 errands to run tomorrow and then I'm going over to my friend's house to install a new fan and light in his bathroom. It should be easy. He wants to surprise his wife before she gets back in town.

Still cold here and right now at 8:10pm temp is once again -1C. Weather said my area of BC at least is 9 degrees colder than usual. I can believe it. Daytime high should be around 10C. Made it up to 1C.

I suppose that's something. I forgot how miserable winter could be. That's bc I left when I was 20-ish, and didn't have to work/ drive/ run errands in it very much, and it was still fun.

Good luck at your friend's house. I hope the project goes smoothly!

Managed to mop and vacuum most of the hard floors today. So between that, dusting, and toilet scrubbing the housework is virtually done.

Good thing too bc I pressed the surgeon's PA for details on recovery, and they don't even want me washing dishes or walking a 9.5 lb dog for 2 weeks

And no yardwork for at least 6 weeks, maybe longer

Don't know what I'm going to do except go stir crazy. There's only so much internet I can tolerate and so much dust I can stand looking at. Maybe I'll get some quality time learning gimp, and FINALLY being able to make a landscape plan? At least that would be useful.

Out for my walk in the bright soon. Not sure how cold it is but everything I need for it is on stand by.

Thanks. Me too. I've done a few of these before, and sometimes you luck out and everything works just fine. Other times it ends up being a big project because Uncle Bob screwed everything up and hid it all. I'm fairly confident my friend could do this on his own, but I'm happy to come by and do it and get out of the house.

I ended up doing more errands than I thought and taking care of a few phone calls I needed to make about things that I probably should have gotten around to earlier. It's already been a super productive day, relatively speaking to most of the rest of the year so far outside of the curio cabinet, closet and pantry work.

But boy... was it cold out. low 20's didn't feel so bad last week, but after 3 days in teh 40's and 50's and with the wind howling today it was probably not the day to be doing all that driving around. Glad it's done now though.

I didn't go to Menards to look at drawer slides today like I wanted to, but that was more because the two recent sale ads are garbage and I'm not in a huge hurry to get there because of that. Good Will is having a 40% off sale on Saturday, so I plan on doing them both then.

It's supposed to be sunny and 12 degrees warmer than it is right now.
