I keep waiting for this disaster the happen, and so far the only disasters seem to be American.
Blinken called Chinese Foreign Scy Wang Yi, asking China to use its influence with Russia about Ukraine (seriously???) and got a boot up his ass.

Biden* took his propaganda show to the UN Security Council and every single non-NATO nation there told the USA some version of STFU and negotiate with Russia.
Macron (France), Scholz (Germany), Orban (Hungary), and Italy are all negotiatimg directly - bypassing the EU and NATO- with the Kremlin on energy and security issues
The effect of those monster sanctions against Russia (kicking Russia from SWIFT, blocking energy exports from Russia) has been found to be so uniformly devastating to the west that they are quietly being scaled back.
So unsurprisingly Jen Psaki is walking back talk of "imminent" invasion of Ukraine.
This is a worse debacle than Afghanistan. Whoever is crafting our foreign policy (Burns, Nuland, Blinken) need to have their heads exaxmined. They bluster and threaten and try to drum up hysteria but they have an EXTREMELY weak hand militarily, economically, financially, and politically, and everyone knows it except them.
And you guys are gluttons for disinformation.
When will you learn?
BTW, saying that the USA needs to do better is patriotic. Mindless rah-rahism however weakens the USA because it prevents recognition of our flaws and delays essential improvement.
Even the press doubts Biden* spox on that whole "crisis actors" angle, and when AP reporter demands evidence (instead of allegations) the best the spox can do is
1) we have declassified evidence... that we can't show you, and
2) you're a Russian troll (which is the dodge of weak minds and liars everywhere)

I'll give you a very real example: Worst President Ever is either James Buchanan, who served just before Lincoln, or Andrew Johnson, who was Lincoln's V.P. As for Lincoln, he was deemed the WORST PRESIDENT, if Confederates were asked, while Buchanan and Johnson were the BEST. Buchanan would not arrest any of the Confederates who were making noises about going to war and Johnson pardoned all the Confederates who Buchanan wouldn't arrest. I have seen in life that the worst people I know -- least trustworthy, lowest integrity, most dishonesty -- defend the worst Presidents, which includes slave-owning, tax-cheating (Nixon, Trump), and wannabe President-for-Life (Putin, Trump) Presidents.

Naive young lad I was at the time. I had no idea that Obama would come in and be worse and then his VP would make most of us long for the days Obama or GWB were president.
