Most in my family have allergies. My dad was a favorite guinea pig of the allergy pharma.
I sneeze more quickly than most. That is an immune system reaction. Either a more active immune system, or a more sensitive.
I cough every day of my life, and more quickly thAn most.
When having NBC Training (I think Nuclear Biological Combat - which training uses Tear Gas to prActice ensuring the air mask is sealed), I completed the class with far less effects than the rest of my platoon.
When Bovine Growth Hormone started being used, I was able to detect a reaction to it, even though labels always say the BGH dairy products has no BGH. Many friends use me as their canary, asking me if I react to certain brands or products, and which ones I use in order to avoid a reaction. They use my reactions as a gauge of whether they will feed their kids or themselves the products. Does this stronger reaction by my immune system mean mine is weaker or stronger? Following my first covid, I experienced my first bout with RA, which seemed to me just a more severe reaction to BGH.
If a greater sensitivity means stronger immune system, then that applies to me.
If a strong immune system means weaker sensitivity, withstanding smoking tobacco every hour, letting poisons and pollutants sneak up on immune unawares, then this does not apply to me.
I think I prefer an immune system which is more vigilant, more reactionary, more sensitive, more robust.
Maybe that is all opposite of your logic.

Well... I just found out that my brother and his wife sold my niece out and forced her to take the jab last week so they wouldn't be inconvenienced and not be able to go on an upcoming cruise that requires them.
She developed Covid two days ago, after the vax, and gave it to my brother and his wife, both of whom have plenty of reasons not to want to have covid because of their lifestyle choices.
Hope the cruise was worth it. I hope they at least get to go on a cruise again.

The good news is, if your brother and sister in law were vaccinated at least three weeks ago, then they are unlikely to get very ill. And if they caught Omicron, then the risk of serious illness is virtually non-existent.
Altho I'm sure you're convinced your niece's ears and nose will fall off some time in the future, or some such.
I have no idea if or when they were. I assume they were... At least they'd better fucking have gone ahead and done it themselves before if not at least along side of them shooting my niece up with an experimental drug for no good fucking sellout reason.
All I know is my niece didn't have Covid, then she got an experimental drug and got Covid within a week and spread it to her family.

But the "allergy" reaction (which involves three or four components of your immune system- mast cells, histamine, and immunoglubulin E AKA "IgE" IIRC) are not the same as the part of the immune system that killds pathogens. And THAT is not the same as the part of the immune system that patrols for weak or defective cells. Which is not necessarily the same part that causes autoimmune response... inappropriate attack of the immmune system on healthy normal cells (like RA).
So you could have very strong allergic responses (you might want to look up "mast cell activation syndrome" and see if that description fits you) but not be very good at killing pathogens. Or you could have exaggerated cytokine production ... the chemicals that cause pain, headache, and fever... and not have an allergic response.
Allergic response to inhaled allergens involves sneezing, drippy stuffy nose and eye watering. VERY strong allergic response can involve fever as well (hence "hay fever"). Allergies to food or bee stings can involve tongue, face or lip swelling, hives, or in severe cases anaphylactic shock. Joint pain is not an allergic response, and neither is coughing with wheezing... that's something else.
Anyway, it's not accurate to classify someone's immune system as being "strong" or "weak". Some parts can be hypervigilant, and some can be weak. So it depends.

I was in Illinois where they still have a mask mandate for a few days with my Dad and brother. Every place we went into had signs requiring masks.
I didn't wear one the whole time. I wasn't the only person either. I'd say about 1/3rd of the people I saw weren't wearing masks.
Unlike a year ago, not one single employee in any establishment said shit to me about it. I got a few people giving me stares, but I've got a sick death stare that I love giving people like that and after just a few seconds of that they put their heads down with their tails between their legs.
By the end of the trip my old man and brother weren't wearing their masks anymore either.
Hopefully they keep that up now that the pack leader isn't around.

Vaccines continued to provide strong protection against death from COVID-19 in December, even against the new omicron variant, according to state data released Friday.
Unvaccinated Texans were 16 times as likely to die from the virus in December, and were two times as likely to test positive for it. That gap has shrunk from the fall, likely due to omicron's increased transmissibility.
The divide was most evident for Texans between 65 and 75 years old, who were 19 times more likely to die from COVID if they were unvaccinated. Nearly 80,000 COVID deaths have been reported in Texas since the pandemic began, the majority of them in 2021, when vaccines became available. Just under 1,600 deaths were reported to the state in December.
As of Friday, 62 percent of Texans over age 5 were fully vaccinated, up about four percentage points from November.

The pandemic’s true death toll: millions more than official counts
Countries have reported some five million COVID-19 deaths in two years, but global excess deaths are estimated at double or even quadruple that figure.
The Economist magazine in London has used a machine-learning approach to produce an estimate of 12 million to 22 million excess deaths — or between 2 and 4 times the pandemic’s official toll so far.
The uncertainty in this estimate is a discrepancy the size the population of Sweden. “The only fair thing to present at this point is a very wide range,” says Sondre Ulvund Solstad, a data scientist who leads The Economist’s modelling work. “But as more data come in, we are able to narrow it.”
