This CT scan shows an ARDS (Acute respiratory distress syndrome) which is one of the complications of Covid. Healthy lungs should be black in the CT scan. Only the black parts are getting the oxygen, the rest is blocked by mucus or already necrotic tissue.
Source: this is not just some random scary picture I found, this is a photo I took today as we were discussing this case. This particular patient of ours passed away this morning. They were not vaccinated.
