Though I'm not a gambler, I find I can't really take any games seriously if there isn't something on the line, even if it's pretty insignificant.

There was a lot of "table talk" and good-natured ribbing.

The only one I remember now was a small triceratops, which stood for bidding "too far, too fast" (sometimes called TF squared). It was lighthearted fun, since none of the other players (who were all VERY much better than I was!) took it seriously.

That's a cool idea too.

We're playing for fun too and we keep points which is how the bit of money is awarded.

Horrible, soggy day out. And I went out and didn't realize that I left a pocket on my back pack unzipped. I was having a coffee when I noticed. Luckily the pocket doesn't have anything important in it.

Got something for supper and picked up another Christmas present. Figured I'd better grab it while it was in.

Yeah... Soggy here too. Been that way for days since the 80 degree burst went away.

40's tonight. Cold weather's coming.

Yup, there is an atmospheric river going over where I am and it is dumping loads of rain. Soggy tomorrow to.

I actually woke up to sun for the first time in about a week this morning.

Still don't think I'll be able to mow the lawn though unless it holds all day long and some of this dries up.

Lucky you. Still raining where I am.

Hey there Brenda! Much as I like the rain, I too don't enjoy going out into the sogginess. So at least your new place is dry and warm and you can enjoy coming home.

I was able to mow, although I probably shouldn't have. It took a lot longer than it needed to since I basically had to mow twice because the bag wasn't filling up properly and I would have had clump trails otherwise.

After that I realized that it was starting to get cold and I still hadn't changed the oil in my car, so I did that too. That's a bit harder now that I can't do it out on the driveway. Certainly a bit messier. Oh well. It's done now.

Going back to working on my new PCs. Finally got in touch with that guy again and I'll be getting one for my friend this week.
