"Good luck movin' up cause I'm movin' out."

I like that one, too.

"And if he can't drive with a broken back...
at least he can polish the fenders."

lol It's great. I never listened to the lyrics of that one before.

SIX, it was an okay time.

"My Life" is a good song and sometimes I think it is my theme song. *L*

Also love "Piano Man"

BTW, I always thought that Billy Joel's songs had more depth and sadness in them, or maybe an outsider's view of life. As it turns out, he did suffer from depression and alcoholism. But it seems he got some sort of insight to what was important in life despite that. Or maybe because of that.

I first heard this on a Hallmark show called "Signed, Sealed, and Delivered" (which I liked) and this song really, really stuck with me. I didn't realize it was a Billy Joel song until just now, when it popped into my head and itched to look it up

Chuck Klosterman had some pretty good insight into Billy Joel in Sex, Drugs and Coca Puffs. So much so that I guess you can buy "The Billy Joel Essays" on Amazon for .99.

I'd recommend the entire book though.
