You say that you don't think anybody should be forcing vaccinations on anyone, period. Kiki knows that it's wrong for the government to allow corporations to do so, but then says "oh well... They've been doing it for decades now, so there's nothing that can be done about it. I'm okay with it I guess since it makes me feel safer if everyone has one."

Bear with me, this is going to be long.
There was a poster here, AURAPTOR ("RAPPY") who was convinced ... CONVINCED, I tell you! ... that Saddam had WMD. Nothing could convince him otherwise. Not even when GWB's teams searched Iraq high and low and only found remnants of deteriorated, decades-old chemical weapons shells, but no evidence of ONGOING WMD production and deployment, which might have justified and invasion.
First, he insisted that the remnants were meaningful.
Them, when it was pointed out that what they were finding was too deteriorated to be used (more a hazard to anyone trying to use them) he eventually wiggled his way around to insisting that they COULD HAVE BEEN shipped to Syria. Well, aside from the faxt that there was no earthly reason why Saddam should trust Assad, we wondered why this wasn't detected by reconnaisance. After all, if Saddam had had a WMD program big enough to be militarily meaningful, it would have made quite a convoy, being pulled back from "We know where they are. They're in the area around Tikrit and Baghdad and east, west, south and north somewhat," (Rumsfeld). If we could be that certain where they were, we should have been able to see where they had gone.
Well, they COULD HAVE been moved in a sandstorm! RAPPY insisted.
Every explanation he gave became a more and more convoluted and irrational story about how his suspicions COULD HAVE been true, despite there being not a shred of evidence to support his suspicions, and huge practical problems with his stories.
And then, we have JO. He is convinced ... CONVINCED, I TELL YOU! ... that Trump is Putin's puppet. Even tho every piece of "evidence" that he produces evaporates when you look at it, that this has been investigated over four years with no expenses spared, that Trump has not helped Putin in any material way and that there has been no "secret" communication uncovered between Trump and Putin which would have made such "collusion" possible, JO753 is convinced that this has happened "somehow". By magic, maybe? Telepathy?
The problem with their suspicions is that they're unbounded by evidence or even practical considerations. "How" this was done can only be explained with wildly implausible stories of "might have" and "could have" and "maybes".
And then there's you.
I think YOUR rub is that you can't explain to yourself WHY any government or pharmaceutical would insist on lockdowns and masking and vaccinations when they absolutely don't care about us "little people". So it becomes story about them wanting to turn us all into pod people or monkey with our DNA or something just as implausible as JO753's and RAPPY's suspicions.
So, let's focus on vaccinations: HOW can they control us thru vaccinations? Any evidence that a vaccination will turn YOU into a pod person? Monkey with your DNA?
Let me focus on the DNA aspect for a bit.
Both this virus and its vaccine are made of RNA, not DNA. RNA CAN'T interpolate itself into DNA because, among other things, it's got a different nucleic acid in it, and it's a single strand, not a double one. So even if it TRIED to squeeze itself into DNA, that portion wouldn't "work". It would be like using paint instead of caulk ... non-functional stuff.
Aside from that, it's EXTREMELY easy to sequence both DNA and RNA nowadays, with autmated sequencers. When the Wuhan virus was first isolated, China provided us with a full sequence within a few weeks.
