In fact, I'll be even more expansive.
I disagree that corporations and other legal fictitious entities are people.
And I abhor that private and state entities can ignore or remove our Constitutional protections.
But in addition, I agree with mask mandates, yes, even by businesses and employers. It's a long-standing right of property owners. It violates no Constitutional protection. And if you're in their place, it's at their invitation, and on their terms. It's the old 'no shirt, no shoes, no service' mantra.
Furthermore, SHOULD it become necessary to mandate vaccinations, I think it SHOULD come from the federal government.

UNDER SOME CIRCUMSTANCES, VACCINE MANDATES MIGHT BE NECESSARY. If OTOH you believe that vaccines should NEVER be mandated under ANY circumstances ... well, then, you're an idiot.

I wonder on what the constitutional authority vaccine mandates would be based.
What if some deadly disease was being carried from state to state? Could the Federal government step in and mandate quarantine and vaccination measures as an interstate issue? Under "promote the general welfare"? That clause could potentially justify a multitude of sins.

On a completely sideways note: Did you ever notice how DIFFERENT county structures are? They don't have legislatures (unlike city councils, state legislstures etc) altho they DO have courts. The elected officials are administrators, in essence, not presidents or mayors. Except in CA where measures may be taken directly to vote, there's no legislative input on county measures, altho counties do, indeed, levy taxes.

I think pestilence and plague were always concerns whenever people congregated in crowded permanent settlements. And somebody ended up trying to keep people safe, as a whole.
I'm mostly struck by how towns run themselves. There aren't any D or R or other designations. And even though I served on a city committee for a few years, I'm not really sure exactly how city council members distinguish themselves in terms of why you should vote for them.
