I always wondered about Theranos.
I thought the FDA had jurisdiction over medical testing devices. And Theranos was claiming a new, revolutionary, testing technology. How was it able to set up and start testing without any FDA oversight?
Well anyway, that's certainly a LARGE sidestep away from "Countdown Clock, Trump Going to Jail".
Any charges or indictments filed against Trump in the Real World?

Ian Gibbons, the chief scientist of Theranos, committed suicide the night before he was required to testify in a lawsuit about the company's technology - May 23, 2013. If Trump's accountant commits suicide, Trump will have many extra years of freedom before he goes to trial.

Trump's refusal to extend Giuliani aid appears to be part of a broader effort by the former president to distance himself from his ex-attorney.
Back in January, The Washington Post reported that Trump "instructed aides not to pay Giuliani's legal fees and "has demanded that he personally approve any reimbursements for the expenses Giuliani incurred while traveling on the president's behalf to challenge election results in key states." Trump also privately "expressed concern" about some of Giuliani's moves in attempting to overturn the election and was put off by the ex-attorney's $20,000 daily fees.

On the other hand, Trump not paying Giuliani for his legal service is "illegal" which means nothing to Trump since laws don't enforce themselves. If Trump refuses to pay, Giuliani can either sue and prevail in court after years of litigation or Giuliani sends his goons to beat up Trump and break his legs. I doubt Giuliani will do either.
