The US Team lost their first game to Sweden in an embarrassing 3-0 shutout. Another loss and they're out of the race for Gold or Silver. I can't stomach that vile Rapinoe and her big stupid mouth.
NBC's coverage of the Opening Ceremonies was exactly what I expected .... an NBC celebration and glorification of all things libtarded, with, of course, a hyper-psychotic obsession with anyone and everything GAY. Had to turn it off after about 20 minutes.
Also, who the hell are they all waiving to? There's nobody in the stands. It's just a tad absurd.

The U.S. women's soccer team bounced back in a big way Saturday, beating New Zealand 6-1. The win came after a disappointing and surprising loss to Sweden in the Americans' opening match earlier this week.
The team heads to the coastal city of Kashima on Tuesday for a game against Australia, which will conclude their Group G play. The top teams from each group will head to the quarterfinals.
The U.S. came into these Games seeking to become the first women's team to take Olympic gold after winning the World Cup, which they did in 2019. Saturday's win against New Zealand makes that goal still a possibility.

I was 9 years old the last time the Olympics ratings were this low.
I don't know what was happening in 1988 that was distracting everyone from the Olympics so much. Wrestlemania IV was held at Trump Plaza in Atlantic City, but that was in March.
ETA: Ah... Prince and the California Raisins were both on tour that summer. That must be it.
