SIX, All nations have responded in one way or another to the pandemic. Are you saying that this is a global conspiracy?
And even if you think that all governments have a common interest in increasing their authority... well, OTOH, there are nations like Iran and N Korea and Russia which have a compelling geopolitical interest in denying that they have a problem. But in Iran, a large part of their leadership was decimated, and Russia's death rate is at an all-time high, and even THEY are admitting a problem and taking measures to reduce it.
Your emotions are getting in the way of your rationality on the topic, just like JO's paranoia is messing with his thinking on Russia.

You've been in angry denial since the virus reared its ugly head.
You claimed the virus never existed.
You claim that nobody ever died of COVID-19 despite the piles of bodies and ginormous rise in excess deaths.
You were against lockdowns
You were against MASKING, for god's sake, which is about the most innocuous measure one can take.
NOW you're claiming that your (real) objection is about the vaccine and that you "have no dog in this race"?
Oh, PUHLEEZ! You're just latching on to one excuse after another to be oppositional about something ... anything... related to the virus. I really think you should do a deep dive into why you react the way you do, and understand the genesis of your anger.
