Way back when, I started a thread to tease out the timeline of the whole story.
The previous prosecutor had been inactive on internal corruption for a year and a half. The succeeding prosecutor had been in office for AT MOST ONE WEEK and AS LITTLE AS ONE DAY (complete date sets were missing from British reporting) before he was threatened with dismissal for not acting on corruption.
That's the lamest, most threadbare crock for getting rid of a political inconvenience WHO MIGHT ACTUALLY HAVE WANTED TO PURSUE BURISMA that I can imagine.

Yes they were. The republicans started a new form of politics. I’d never seen so many attacked so intensely yet have no one wind up in the courts. This was because most of the claims against them were disproven in the media again and again. The claims that weren’t were so farfetched they could not be proven nor disproven comrade.
