Some years ago I recall, maybe when they were in a contract dispute, that the NBA players had a category where the MINIMUM WAGE was $1 Million per year. I felt there pain. NOT. I hope they all go broke from BLMball.

It's pretty gross how much money is in men's sports.

Honestly, I'd much rather go to a WNBA game than an NBA game these days. A lot of those women need to work a real job on the side and have relatives or make friends to crash overnight in between bus rides from game to game. Imagine Paul Newman's team from Slapshot...

I remember when Jose Conseco was the first pro sports player to make a million bucks. Now the NBA league minimum is more than twice the salary the President of the US makes.

Not that these players shouldn't be getting their cuts though, when there is so much money involved.

Maybe this is all a good thing. Let's tear down the sports establishment along with Hollywood and just start all over.

That same night and up against BLM Football League, Carlson got a 4.4 rating and Hannity got 4.3 - on a Premium Channel, must be paid for. BLM Football has succeeded in dropping their ratings almost down to the level of a Cable News Show.
The 2019 Kickoff Game of the National Football League with Packers vs. Bears was 12.8 rating, 22.0 million.
Yes, the Packers have the smallest Home City in the entire NFL. Green Bay population 104K, and Stadium seating capacity is 81k+ (largest venue in the state, and 3rd largest in NLF). Several times, the city pop was less than the Stadium capacity. Packers have mentioned that 75% of their revenue comes from TV, not ticket purchase.
A drop of 7.6 rating from 2019 NFL Kickoff to 2020 BLM Football Kickoff.

2016 NFL Kickoff (before kneeling for the National Anthem) was 14.6 rating, 25.2 million.

But maybe other BLM racist programming really did affect ratings of BLM Football. For the BLM Season of BLMball, the highest ratings appear to be 1.3, and 2.1 million - for a playoff game ON BROADCAST NETWORK. I forgot to mention that on the opening game Sunday, the Packers game was at noon. At 1:30 was scheduled a very large freighter passing through Green Bay on the Fox River (essentially an obstacle course of bridges and docks), at the same time as a Trump Flotilla of personal-use boats.

There are 3 drawbridges crossing the river. The 2 shortest ones were raised for 3 hours straight, blocking all street traffic for the afternoon, during the airing of the Police Assassination Football League opening game. In years of NFL play, traffic in Green Bay is essentially nonexistant - you need to plan your trips before and after the game for extra delays, and then streets are vacant during the game.

They will not have BLM murals on the courts and they won't have anything other than the players names and numbers on their jerseys. I just realized that when Jeopardy was running the Aaron Rodgers show, I didn't see any of the contestants kneeling.

AR is the QB for Green Bay Packers, and part owner of Milwaukee Bucks.
And he has made comments supporting BLM, and Packers have allowed kneeling, or abstaining by staying in the Locker Room during the National Anthem.

So I should have been surprised to not see kneeling.
That will likely be the last time I watch shows with him this year.

People should boycott the games for at least a decade after they go back to playing them.

I could easily go the rest of my life without watching another sporting event. But I already made that decision when they decided making your average season game unaffordable for most families to attend was a good business idea.

Covid didn't kill sports, but it might be the final nail in the coffin.

I don't want to over-generalize, because I'm sure that there are a reasonable amount of decent people who are professional athletes, but a LOT of them are among the shittiest people in the world.

A majority of families can't even go to any games live anymore because they've been priced out of it. And for what? To watch assholes getting paid in 2 hours 10 to 100 times what you're going to make that entire year while trying to shove agendas down your throat?

Apparently the NFL has a rule about Vaxxing. And Rodgers circumvented this rule, and it seems the issue has been under discussion since the season started. Sounds like the Packers has been interfering, or "helping" in the investigation, and now the NFL is apparently investigating them, as well.
