I've been pulled over plenty of times. Even when I've argued with police, which trust me... I've done, I still refer to them as "officer", I comply with their orders and when they get to my car I have my hands at 10 and 2 and wait for them to ask me for my license and registration before SLOWLY pulling out my wallet and reaching into my glovebox for it.
Don't act twitchy. Don't be high as fuck and paranoid when driving what is a deadly vehicle when you're fucked out of your mind. Don't resist arrest.
Then you'll live to bitch about cops another day.

ETA: What I think you're assuming from that is that I mean 'murder'. But I don't. I mean homicide.
That said, as I posted WAY back at the beginning, I very generally have a problem with some police practices AFTER the person is handcuffed. I don't believe any additional restraints (not pile-on or strangleholds or chokeholds for example) or prone positioning or tasering should be allowed. Maybe there are exceptions, but no one had put any forward as to what conditions might make additional restraints AFTER handcuffs are put on necessary. So at this point, I think handcuffs should be a "bright line" after which these practices are forbidden.
FWIW the police might have been initially acting within policy - and even though it's a policy I deeply disagree with, I'm willing to take that into account. But imo they crossed the line into horribly bad judgement, maybe even criminally bad judgement (to be determined), when Floyd became unconscious and they failed to release him from the pile-on.
