One of the better things out there

MacKenzie Porter and Patrick Gilmore are so hot together (Marcy and David)
The whole cast are shiny gorgeous people though.

SO glad they rewrote Jeff. Dude was annoying. And Kat, she just kept getting in the way.

Jeff WAS getting annoying. I like where they went with him. In fact, I can't think of much to complain about.

I don't know why they kept Jeff and Kat around whereas they allowed Phillip to never contact his family and Trevor to slowly lose touch with his parents but in the end I liked what happened with both of those characters, even if it took a hair too long to get there. All minor things though.

I just love the ending. Very much reminded me of the second season finale of BSG where you just couldn't believe they had the guts to go there.

And oh yes, Marcy and David are adorable.

.... but the interesting thing about this one is Netflix officially announced this show’s cancellation as we were writing this post.

Oh, wells. At least it ended on an interesting note. I really was planning to cancel Netflix this month, and now I won't really have any reason to go back (except maybe Black Mirror.)

watched a Season I guess I liked it but I wasnt sure where it was going, maybe too much of the Fake people Cyborg thing and Body Snatchers going on

I'm impressed with many of the Canadian-American science fiction tc productions they have been doing great for years with Stargate, Due South, Arrow, the Xmen movies etc

Maybe I will return to this show, not sure

There was a good plot with the Future A.I or the plan to destroy the frame and a past future Traveler guy who was supposed to die by destiny or something on 911 but survived.

it was cancelled in 2019

In general, time travel shows are a hot mess. Sci-fi shows about going faster, being stronger, and a host of other things are fantastic and fun, but time travel...that's so far out of our ability to experience,

That's why I appreciated some shows, some stories more than others. Like Dr. Who having fixed points in time which cannot be changed. Not sure why or how, doesn't matter. Just don't try. Period.

Or Michael Crichton's book, Timeline. Technically, he delves into the aspect of time travel better than most others... I won't spoil it, but it's kinda cool. I can see something like that being done.

Travelers is another well thought out version of jumping over the barrier of time. It 'sorta' makes sense. Not like a Bill & Ted, or Avengers End Game either.

I wish they'd find a way to continue the series. I'd like to revisit the characters somehow. Maybe we'll get a reboot soon ( hey, everyone is doing it ) and we'll get more to the story?

Right after that FIREFLY reboot, I'm guessin.

I loved Timeline.

Travelers was another great sci-fi show that I didn't bother watching anymore after I'd heard it's been cancelled.

But hey... at least it got 3 seasons. Firefly only gets one season, and Batwoman is going to get three even though nobody is watching the 2nd season now.

You should check out a movie called Primer if you like a good mindfuck with your time travel.

My recommendation though is to watch it with the subtitles on. It's super low budget like most of the movies I watch, and the sound editing leaves a bit to be desired.

Thanks for the heads up on Primer. I will search it out. Don’t know how I overlooked it so far.

As for batwoman, there are rumors that it is being canceled - mercifully, but I haven’t heard anything to verify this yet. The story is that somehow the character will be used in the other CW shows, I just hope it won’t be Superman and Lois. God that is such a refreshing change of pace from the current CW playlist..
