You may remember that four years ago, Trump managed to win the electoral college because he prevailed in Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania by a combined total of just 77,000 votes. That tiny margin was enough to overcome Hillary Clinton’s 3 million-vote lead in the popular vote and make him president with 304 electoral votes.
77,000 votes. So what’s the analogous magic number for 2020? It’s even smaller.
Arizona: 10,457
Georgia: 14,028
Wisconsin: 20,565
Total: 45,050
45,050. If 45,050 voters had flipped and voted Trump rather than Biden, it would be Trump who crushed Biden, not the other way around.

As I got older, the percent of Americans who I believed to have bad judgement has increased. First 10%. Then 25%. Now I believe it must be more than 50%. Looking at only people in my immediate vicinity, it is about 75% that believe Trump should be reelected and that any Democrat, especially Bernie Sanders or any woman, would be a disaster for America. There is nothing Democrats can do or say to change the minds of the people with extremely bad judgement who want Trump back.
The next election will be another 50/50 coin flip to decide who will be President because a majority of Americans have enormous difficulty understanding the simplest things, whether voting for Presidents or any other decision of consequence to their lives. I can prove this by pointing to their numerous disastrous personal decisions unrelated to politics. To quote Signym, "IT'S REALLY THAT FUCKING SIMPLE!"
