It seems almost like folk forget that Joss was going to kill off Jayne, at the end of Ariel.

And how Inara was re-cast, and the cast learned not many re-shoot were needed, because of how Joss filmed her scenes - and they learned how devious he was.

I remember Inara was recast , and that she was gonna be killed off in the next season, if not earlier, but Jayne? That's news to me.

As for who Joss was schtooping, I can credit Gary @ Nerdrotic for finally giving out a name. Eliza Dushku.

Alleged, of course, and no idea who else, if any, from the show. But Gary was there at many a Con where both Joss and Eliza were at panels and Mrs. Nerdroctic thought Joss and Eliza were gonna hop on each other right there.

As for the Michelle Tractenberg issue that Joss never be alone with her in a room, IDK if that's entirely the whole story. Some are saying that it wasn't a Joss only thing, but that NO males were allowed to be in a room solo with young Ms Tractenberg. Now, was that because of something Joss DID, and a blanket 'all men' deal was made, to cover their bases? Or was that simply studio policy for any young, underaged actress ? I know that the implication is there, but again, we're really lacking any significant details here. I can see why no one is talking, because any criminal investigation could ruin individual careers ( other than Joss ) as well as sink the studio for liable.

Rebecca.. yeah. I could picture her but wasn't bothered enough to look it up. Lots of alternative actors don't make the cut. Look at Eric Stoltz instead of as Michael J. Fox as Marty McFly.

But back to this topic, where have the FIREFLY crew been?

Remember, Nathan made Stana cry on CASTLE. I wonder what all THAT was about. Anyone know ? I hope Nathan didn't pick up any of Joss's bad traits. Nathan seems like a pretty stand up guy, right?

There's a senior executive where I work who has made multiple men cry in meetings. People love to laugh about it in the break room. I'm not sure if this is specifically a woman thing or just jerks in power enjoying making underlings cry. Either way it's not good but if it's sexist as well that's pretty low.

Amy Acker said she supports people speaking their truth but also that she had a good, professional relationship working with Joss. So, it's not just a woman thing.

It's a stupid saying for sure. I hope that it's supposed to mean telling the truth about their personal experiences. At least that's how I read it.

I think it's one of the few things that people can say when they didn't experience anything the people are talking about. Like well if that's true I support you but I didn't experience anything like that. Seems like there's a few people who had bad experiences with Joss and others who are just like "wait what I thought everything was cool? but yeah totally support you guys if you had a bad experience".

I think about all we can conclude is that Joss doesn't run a completely toxic set where everyone is miserable. It seems he targets specific people and does something vaguely bad to them. He does these things in private so no one else can corroborate the information. Which only makes it more frustrating that things are so vague.

The thing I think is interesting in all of this is it started with that justice league guy who seemed to imply it was a race issue. So far not a single person has mentioned Joss being racist. So, while he may have been treated badly like some of these others. It doesn't seem like it was a racial issue.

His biggest beef, I think was not wanting to say ' Booyah '. Somehow, he has managed to turn THAT into something racial, which is stupid on so many levels, but also has zero to do with Joss. Lacking any specific details, IDK what Joss is supposed to say, other than some generic - I tried his best to get the most out of his crew and if he went too far, then I'm sorry , type of apology.
