Only in this messed up timeline could the President of Mexico be considered a hero for the freedom of speech in America.

Quote:

“I don't like anybody being censored or taking away from the the right to post a message on Twitter or Face(book). I don't agree with that, I don't accept that,” López Obrador said.

“How can you censor someone: 'Let's see, I, as the judge of the Holy Inquisition, will punish you because I think what you're saying is harmful,'” López Obrador said in an extensive, unprompted discourse on the subject. “Where is the law, where is the regulation, what are the norms? This is an issue of government, this is not an issue for private companies.”

The President of Mexico is a bigger US Patriot than half of the people on these boards.

Private companies are free to have anti-terrorist policies.

"Arguing that you don't care about the right to privacy because you have nothing to hide is no different than saying you don't care about free speech because you have nothing to say. When you say, ‘I have nothing to hide,’ you’re saying, ‘I don’t care about this right.’ You’re saying, ‘I don’t have this right, because I’ve got to the point where I have to justify it.’ ~Edward Snowden

You're the first person on this board that should be worried about the implications of these actions.

I don't recall openly advocating for the organized murder of public officials.

Parler is GONE, Its Users Are DOXXED, And They Are SUING.

The people that were cool with a baker denying gay people their services are now clutching their pearls when someone denies them their services? Of course.

Granted, she just wants to be the one to control censorship and have that power over German citizens to herself, but she doesn't abide Twitter and Facebook making those decisions.

Oh, and France isn't on board either.

When what you post is getting people murdered, it's time to stop posting your terrorist shit.

FBI Memo Warns Of Possible Armed Protests At All 50 State Capitols

If conservatives become convinced that they can not win democratically, they will not abandon conservatism. They will reject democracy.” - David Frum

That looks like a pistol on his hip. Is that a pistol? Looks like a pistol to me.

I wonder what his plans were with zip ties and a gun?

Trumptards? Trolls? Anyone?

Your opinion is incorrect.

There are 330 million people in America, and a good deal of them are unhappy at any given time. As tensions increase, which there is no sign of that stopping any time soon, more people are going to do stupid stuff.

We are all individuals and cannot be held responsible for what sick people do after we say something. Trump never said to do anything that happened the other day.

Let me ask you this, Marcos....

What do you think happens to these dumb, angry people when you remove their voices entirely from the mainstream platforms and then do whatever you can to eliminate any competition those platforms have?

Do you think they just disappear?

The censorious actions we see to day are going to spur on a lot more violence than Trump's speech allegedly did. (It didn't).

What happens when we get GWB on steroids next time, and he Patriot Act's Antifa out of existence on the internet?

Do you think that is going to make Antifa go away?

Or do you think it's more likely they'll go underground and out of desperation they will become a little more dangerous to make a point, with little forewarning about what they plan to do because they no longer have an online presence?

Your Nazi apologist act is getting old. Antifa are not terrorists.
