Well, I guess she cracked the code then. She's got everything now.

Not passable at all for a man, but everybody she demands call her one will call her one, and they will also call her stunning and brave. But she's still able to keep her job and make millions playing women after having a lifetime experience of playing women.

If I were Scarlett Johannson, I would tell "Elliot" that she can't she can't play women anymore. Scarlett had to give up a role playing a transgender because the Twitter mob was outraged that an actual transgender wasn't getting that role.

If "Elliot" wants to be a man, she should only be able to play transgender roles now, yanno... if we're going to be fair about it.

She's an evil white male now. She doesn't get to be stunning and brave too. She's got to live by the actual rules that evil white males have to play by everyday.

OH, THE HORROR!!!

I find transgender people curious folk. I can't imagine what they identify with so strongly. It's not like I wake up every morning and think I'm a woman!. (Altho I DO wake up most mornings and think Damn! I'm OLD!)

I guess I have a more gender-neutral view of who I am, not tied all THAT strongly to sex. I've always done what my strength and abilities allowed, whether that was a traditionally male occupation (like stack testing, instrument repair) or a female one (yardwork/gardening.) and I was proud of doing a good job, whether it was a "man's" job or a "woman's" job.

I never dressed "girly" or act "girly" either, and have never used my sex as a reason or an excuse for anything I've done (except have a child) so altho society treats me like a woman, it's a more neutralized version.

So, what is it that attracts a person of one sex to believe that they would be better off as another? I don't feel that a person's sex should be central to what they do or how they see themselves.
