Sad. I like how 6 has brought SIGNYM down to his level.

I've always seen sig on the same level as Jack. To me a troll is a troll and they all sink to the lowest of lows. Done with this thread.

OH, THE HORROR!!!

I find transgender people curious folk. I can't imagine what they identify with so strongly. It's not like I wake up every morning and think I'm a woman!. (Altho I DO wake up most mornings and think Damn! I'm OLD!)

I guess I have a more gender-neutral view of who I am, not tied all THAT strongly to sex. I've always done what my strength and abilities allowed, whether that was a traditionally male occupation (like stack testing, instrument repair) or a female one (yardwork/gardening.) and I was proud of doing a good job, whether it was a "man's" job or a "woman's" job.

I never dressed "girly" or act "girly" either, and have never used my sex as a reason or an excuse for anything I've done (except have a child) so altho society treats me like a woman, it's a more neutralized version.

So, what is it that attracts a person of one sex to believe that they would be better off as another? I don't feel that a person's sex should be central to what they do or how they see themselves.

Yeah, I noticed the makeup too. If jawn's now a man, jawn's a very well-made-up and manicured girly-girl-one. (girly-girl being a moniker from a CJ Cherryh novel)

Maybe if one is always treated like one is of the wrong sex, what sex one is would be closer to the top of conscious thought. I'm trying to imagine how I would feel if everyone thought I was the opposite sex. If they called me one, if they treated me like one, if they gave all the jobs and tasks as if I was one. I think it could be really frustrating, but honestly, it's hard to imagine.

As to this person, I really don't care about jawn in particular. I've never heard of jawn, don't care to know what jawn has to say about anything, and now that I've read about jawn, my life and ideas are no different than before. Jawn is just another meaningless forgettable over-hyped media face in the array of meaningless forgettable over-hyped media faces as far as I'm concerned.

But then, what you're talking about isn't some internally-referenced identification, it's SOCIETY's response to your perceived sex, and its sex roles and expectations. SOME men who have transitioned to women dress and make up in such extremely feminine way they almost look like drag queens ... extreme social signalling that shouts out I'm a WOMAN but others seem content to dress and act like ordinary women, soI think there's some difference there.

Another explanation is that some people crave attention and this is one socially- acceptable way to scratch that itch.

I do wonder if society's sex roles were less rigid there would be fewer people feeling the need to transition. I still find the whole thing puzzling.

It's pretty safe to say she's not going to commit to any surgery or even any testosterone treatments since she can't seem to keep the makeup kit in the purse that she retired to the closet that's bigger than most people's entire bedroom.

I'm half under the impression that she's just nuts, like most Hollywood types are, and that this is just possibly her "acting" a character in real life, combined with boredom during the lockdowns, and the need to stay relevant as the cuteness fades, the wrinkles start to manifest themselves and she pushes further and further past that cutoff age of 30 years old where most actresses fade away, never to be seen again except for maybe some one-off roles as "concerned mom" in some cop drama.

She's just not as good of an actor as Joaquin Phoenix.

To her credit, not many people can honesty say that they are.

What have you done today to earn your place in this crowded world? :)

Ellen Page is a bona fide psycho. I've seen her go on rants during interviews, and she clearly has no idea about anything that isn't demented and psychotic. I think she's a lot like her Juno character .... she believes she's so intelligent and righteous, but actually she's just another Hollywood libtard douche.

Well, that's one of those very obvious prejudices against women: they can't age into mature roles, because female leads can't be anything but beautiful and young.

I noticed that because I have a hard time recalling the faces of most actresses, they're pretty interchangeable IMHO, whereas men are allowed to be something other than handsome and their faces are more distinct.

I did notice, tho, that British shows tend to show older women more often. We've gotten hooked on their "detective" shows, and I noticed a few things about them:

The Brits, they drink. A LOT. They drink at home, alone. They drink at home with the family. And they go to pubs to drink with their colleagues.

They're more demographically honest. Their shows just have a lotmore older people of BOTH sexes in them, and the problems of aging are part of the stories.

Also, they can act circles around most of our actors. Joaquin Pheonix and Ron Glass (RIP) could get into the ring with them, but most American actors would come off as cartoon characters.

Maybe the extreme over-display in trans people has something to do with their upbringing. Maybe as kids they were constantly 'encouraged' (harangued, scolded, punished) into conforming to their gender-appropriate toys, activities, behaviors. "For the love of god, Johnny, PUT THAT DOLL DOWN or I'll beat the crap out of you!" "Oh sweetie, don't you want to wear your pretty frilly pink dress instead?"

Some people don’t care, I remember other weird stories there are many and many of them. Those two brother director dudes from the Matrix went Tranny I think...the first one chopped off his penis and pumped himself full of female hormones and started wearing a dress in public and then the second brother not to be outdone in attention by the first decided to do the very same thing...weird

Ellen?
I remember her / now him? in the movie Inception and one of those Xmen movies

probably screwed in the head by Hollywood, most people there seem to be used, drugged up by the system and abused
is it their wife or “his” wife or are both boymen now...odd

Whats worse is their might be some crime happening when the adults take these big families of kids, they buy a new son or daughter like someoen buying an exotic pet. There are the types who buy kids from S.America, Europe, Africa, Asia and then pump them full of hormonal drugs and force them to change sex
Maybe pirate news was correct, some of these weirdos might have some demon candles in some basement and praying to some Baphomet Goat of Mendes thing from Babylon days...Or maybe its something medical like munchausen syndrome by proxy

Tv, radio and movies are beyond weird these days, without doubt some transgendering homosexual agenda thing going on

it might not be so bad with 'adults'

but push this stuff on kids, there seems to be a criminal connection happening

I'm not going to bother with the whole ze/xer they/them nonsense

The 'Adults' they are not mentally ill?...Maybe they really believe or want this stuff, maybe the whole thing could be talked about rationally or debated but then again "cancel culture" ended the story https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/I_Sexually_Identify_as_an_Attack_Helicop
ter#Publication_history
I Sexually Identify as an Attack Helicopter

So now she / it / he is now a he but straight since the other boyish looking girl is still a girl? or is she Lesbian, I dont know....maybe in older times described as a crazy fricking wackjob but these days in Hollywood a wackjob is more normalized.
That odd casting couch many an American and Canadian eaten and abused by a system, the tinsel town madness, the years of indoctrination/brainwashing

Ellen your DNA just called; you're still a chick
