From this recording, it looks to me like security is fending off BLM/ mace guy with an outstretched hand, and BML/ mace guy slaps security. They both back off, and both appear to draw at the same time with BLM/ mace guy having his hand up just a bit more than security, BLM/ mace guys sprays security first - it takes a lot longer for spray to travel through the air than it takes for a bullet - and then security shoots BLM/ mace guy.

But who knows what happened before then.

Tho it just goes to show - never bring a mace can to a gunfight.

The trolls here are trying to create a rabbit hole of conspiracies, because they were embarrassed by the shooting and want to create a narrative where they look like the good guys.

Unfortunately The Denver Post initially claimed the shooter was antifa, before the full news broke that it was a guard working for a news team that fired. They corrected it later in the day but the reichwing influencers had already picked it up.

The right, of course, chose to double down instead of admitting that one of their own - with a record of violence in the past - maced a bystander and got shot for it.

The fascist right have also convinced everyone in their spheres so you could say they've been pretty effective. Many people underestimate how difficult it is to break through propaganda.

p.s. - There's a video of a (pro-BLM) counter-protester shouting at the (right-wing) protesters to mace him. That video got circulated a lot as evidence, but people apparently didn't watch it until the end. The counter-protester was not involved; at the very end of the video you hear the gunshot and the deceased falls into frame.

If his shirt had the letters FBI, or ASS, or some other equally visible letters, I would have called him that.
