Having a quiet morning...rain is keeping the roofers away today...so I'll find a good book to read and stay away from people. Had to go to the store yesterday..but the shelves were pretty much picked clean...Ah well..we've got stuff, it'll jut take a little creativity to put meals together for a while!

Happy Saturday, Brownouts! Our last visitor left for home this morning...so we're catching up on a few chores and lots of laundry today. This self-quarantine isn't so bad really...I kind of LIKE being home and away from people! Now if we just had a spaceship....

Cloudy and cool Sunday here; our county has its first confirmed case of the 'Rona" so there is now a curfew in place.

This 'shelter in place' thing isn't so bad! (Of course, we have no kids at home from school..so that's a good thing)...We've got food and plenty of good books. I think I could get used to this, except I'll need to get some potatoes soon..

Sad day here; after weeks of nursing our sweet old dog, Zoe with sub-cue fluids and chicken noodle soup, she let us know it was time yesterday so we all had to say goodbye.
Dog is such a small word for a creature that takes up so much room in your heart.

Well, a day later...and we have sunshine, blue skies and it's going to get close to 80 degrees today!! Crazy weather for this time of year!

Well it's Saturday..we might go to a drive in movie tonight; depending on what's showing! This 'social distancing' thing can't keep us down!

RAINED ALL NIGHT...and we had thunder booms, too! At least this morning is sunny, breezy and 66 degrees!! Leaves are bursting out of trees and we have a family of bluebirds nesting in one of the birdhouses close to my office window! Gotta enjoy this!
