Nah... Biden is their guy. There's no way they're going to let Bernie get the nomination, even though Antifa will be rioting in the streets and burning trashcans when he loses.
Warren is out.
I think it's hilarious that there's a better chance that nobody wins.
How many people are going to "REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!" when the Super Delegates make their non-Biden pick?
Do Right, Be Right. :)
I don't want to go back and edit an old post after other people have posted...
But I meant their "non-Bernie" pick.
Too many B's on the B-Team.

Apparently, now the youngest male running for President is Trump.

Quote:Oh, you know, there's a lot of time between now and then. All I have to go on is current data. But Buttigieg and Klobuchar seem destined to not make it. I have a personal sense of why Klobuchar is still running (she believes in her accomplishments too much to quit). I believe 'Mayor Pete' is still running as a spoiler. But neither is going to go anywhere towards the WH.

I've heard of the Heart Attack Race. Which of the Dems is most likely to have a Cardiac Arrest or Stroke first? Whether or not Hiliary is the Veep.
Also, are any of these likely to be the first elected woman Veep?
For each of the remaining candidates, who is the most likely woman in America that they might choose as their running mate?
But there could be a brokered convention coming up with over 500 superdelegates involved, and if that happens afaik all hell breaks loose on the 'democratic' side.
That's as far as I'll suppose.
OK.
A slightly different question. I don't need a prediction, I'm just not aware of who's who of the Lefties.
Who would you say might be in the top ten of prominent females who might be considered as running mate, not including any who have been running for President?

The last paragraph was great:Quote:
Cultural Marxism was no conspiracy, but it is also no mere right-wing “phantasmagoria.” It was and remains a coherent intellectual program, a constellation of dangerous ideas. Aspects of these ideas, to their credit, brought the West’s dirty laundry into the limelight and inaugurated a period of necessary housecleaning that was, indeed, overdue. But their obsessive focus on our societal dirt—real and perceived “injustice,” “oppression,” “privilege,” “marginalization” and the like—quickly became a pathological compulsion. We started to see dirt everywhere. We cleansed and continue to cleanse ourselves tirelessly but are never satisfied, always eager to uncover more dirty deeds and historical sins and stage more ritualized purges. We end up throwing out the baby with the bathwater. And all our hard-won collective attainments and achievements, all that is great and good and glorious in our midst, gets swept up, spat on and discarded with the rest of the trash.

The analysis that I heard, which is somewhat similar to KIKI's, is that the DNC is on a "stopBernie" drive, that they see the candidates as "Bernie" and "everybody else", and that if they don't stop dividing the "everybody else" vote Bernie may get a majority of delegates which will force the DNC to come out with the superdelegates which will create another mess in the party. I understand their dilemma - Bernie will not win againt Trump (unless the M$M can craft yet another hoax against Trump). What I can't quite figure out is WHO they think can take enough votes away from Bernie? None of the rest of the candidates are catching fire. I guess this is where the "brokered convention" and shoehorning in an establishment candidate (someone who isn't even running right now) might come in.
But then, a more cynical interpretation is that Bernie is getting just as far as the press and the M$M is letting him, that he really doesn't represent a threat to the establishment parties because they know he'll fold like a cheap suit at the convention and endorse whoever the DNC says to.

Hahahahahaha. I suspect you are right. But to see it written that plainly, while some are advocating "democracy" in primary voting, is just hilarious. Taking away options and leaving only those who many find despicable may force more to vote for Bernie, not less. Fewer options seems the mantra of anti-democracy DNC.
I wonder if Tulsi had held out until many of these clowns had dropped out, she might have been the fall-back option for many who were not voting for Bernie. My biggest fear is that Tulsi could give Trump a run for his money - she would at least mop the floor with him during debates.
This is just too funny. You peeps who are writing the script for the DNC are getting better. Comical, if not believable.

But I think I may have figured out at least a little that there was a connection between the CIA and all the multi-billionaire deep pockets that funded him.
So, let me back up a bit. There are roughly 310 declared democratic candidates for president. https://ballotpedia.org/List_of_registered_2020_presidential_candidate
s So how does a not very successful mayor from a small city get the backing of so many multi-billionaires? Does he cold-call them with a winning smile and outstretched hand like a Fuller brush salesman? In that case anyone could do that - even JO. (HIYA JO! !
!) Et voilà!!! Manna from heaven! ... Nah, I don't think so ... So, while I don't have the details of how the CIA connected Buttigieg with those donor$$$, I can't imagine it happened any other way except by design. I don't think that's exactly what it means...
I think it's a state by state basis how "Open" is handled.

Quote:
Affiliation with a party is not required to vote in primaries. However, voters can only choose the primary ballot of the party who recieved a majority of their votes in the previous general election, and voter records are kept as public information.
I'm not a party line voter, but seeing as how there's no way I'm going to remember everybody I voted for, I'm actually not sure how they would handle me if I went to vote in the Primary (I've never voted in one before).
It's quite possible that even if I wanted to vote GOP in the primary they wouldn't allow me to based on my 2016 choices.
I'm also on the fence with the knowledge that "voter records are kept as public information". On one hand, that is supposed to be private information. On the other hand, between that and requiring a Driver's License/State ID, you never hear about voter fraud in Indiana.
Also, OpenPrimaries.org needs an editor. They spell about as good as T does.

It seems as if the "anybody but Bernie" is Biden. Jimminy crimminy. I can't imagine Biden winning in a fair fight against Bernie in the primaries, OR against Trump in the general. It looks like the DNC is shooting itself in the head, again.
Still, if they coalesce the "anybody but Bernie" vote they still might get a brokered convention, and put someone else in who is little more credible than Biden. I can't imagine who, tho. Who would the DNC pick who is acceptable to transnational interests and the deep state, and who has a prayer of winning the general election. Hillary? Er ... A previous candudate? A governor? A Senator or high-ranking Representative?

Klobuchar had a campaign quip about never losing an election in MN. If her internal polling showed she was about to lose MN primary to Bernie, she may have quit in order to reserve her quip for the future.

So far Bernie has 58 pledged delegates, Biden has 54, Mayor Pete has 25, Warren has eight and Klobuchar has seven. Texas is still too close to call.
I'm not sure if the candidates can do this, but both Mayor Pete and Klobuchar have said that Biden should be supported, so maybe they can release their candidates to Biden?
Wouldn't it be funny if, in their effort to concoct a brokered convention the DNC actually winds up with Biden getting an unexpected majority? What then?? They'll have to run a geriatric candidate who can't keep the days of the week straight.

Yup. Once in a blue moon the Captain and I agree on something. Not only can you change what's in the quote, but whoever you're quoting could just change the post after the fact and lie about it.
Both Second and T have changed posts after I've quoted them, and then they claimed that what I quoted is not what they've said.
It's the pitfalls of having a dated website. Anywhere else I post these days have timestamps for the original posts and the edits, or at least mark that the post was edited and shows the last time/date of the final edit to the post.
If I wanted to spend a few days here, I could go back through every single post I've ever made on this site, edit the posts, and just reply with nothing and everything I've ever written would be gone.
I suggest in the future, if you want to maintain "proof" that somebody said something, archive it at the wayback machine or just Google for other archive sites. I've never tried that on FFF.NET before, but I think it should suit your purposes just fine.
But given the nature and age of this site, I don't think anything you've ever quoted anybody saying here using the site's quote feature would be admissible.
DISCLAIMER: Not that I'm supporting any legal action by anyone here against anyone here. I'm 100% against anybody doing that.

Raw numbers here but not democratic turnout. At some point I may possibly dig out registered democrat numbers in each state and calculate % democratic turnout, but probably not.

MA 91%
NC 49%
OK 39%.
By comparison, on Super Tuesday, states with closed primaries that also record registered voters by party had these democratic turnouts in the democratic primary:
CA 35% registered democratic turnout

I burst LOL when I heard an observation.
Creepy Joe won overwhelmingly in some states where he has not visited in 2020.
In states where he actually appeared and spoke, those voters who actually witnessed him unedited did not vote for him.
Unrelated: last night all networks were on the election, no shows were broadcast.
I have not paid attention, does anybody know how delegates are allotted? What is the formula for determining how many delegates each state gets? I saw some states where Joe got 1/3 the votes, so he was awarded 1/6 of the delegates - that must be where superdelegates come in.
Nice to see that Doomberg got some delegates, and Tulsi got at least 1.

Now that Fauxcahontas is out, is Tulsi the only woman remaining in the field?
I gotta admit, if there is a debate with Tulsi and Trump, I might actually watch a debate. With popcorn, too.
Has Tulsi been in all of the debates so far? I have not heard of her smacking around the doofus group, and I thought kiki had not mentioned her in regards to debates, so I had thought that she was squeezed out.
She might take it easy on Bernie, but I might watch to see her taken down Creepy Joe.
Did she qualify because she got a delegate?

I predict the general election is going to be a Trump/ Biden one. Biden can't win it. But if Trump seriously dings himself with, as Signy calls it, a "heck of a job Brownie!" reputation over SARS-COV-2, he might lose it.

There has been talk of what could bring down Trump to the point of losing the election. Much has been jabbered about a Stock Market crash, and how that might ensure a Trump defeat.
This was a great concern for me. Although I will not vote for Trump, the threat of a President Biden/Bernie/Hilliary is a horror show of immense proportions.
Some think that this corona-crash of stocks means impending doom for the Trump campaign.
But I think that, as the fall comes around and the electorate looks back on the Wuhan Virus scare, and what ever may result from it, they will view the stock drop as a result of the pandemic. I don't envision that the electorate will view the stock drop as a function of Trump.
It was a worry, because the market really was due for a correction at some point. Without the pandemic, the Bull Market likely would have continued through Election Day (unless polls showed Biden/Bernie/Hilliary in the lead).
But now, the correction has occurred, and it may be bouncing back before the Election. And Trump is likely to be unscathed by this Market event.
For Trump, this could be the best of all scenarios.
Which also makes it the best scenario for America. If Trump can stay alive until Election Day.

I'm pretty sure Biden has been successfully sidelined by the virus just because of the quarantine. It's clear that he's demented, but I don't think he regularly hangs out with anybody who knows how to computer.
#WheresBiden has been trending on Twitter.
You've got to at least hand that to Bernie. Even if he's only a few years younger than my grandma, he's got enough youth support to at least fake it if he's a dummy with the internet.
Hillary had a server in her basement. If she didn't know what she was doing with it, she at least had somebody semi-competent keeping that operational, even if they were unwittingly paying Putin directly for Kaspersky AntiVirus.

As you know, I've been harping about what a shit-show the democratic party is since well before the 2016 election.
As to having demented, or at least brain-damaged, people in the WH, it didn't seem to do Reagan or dubya any harm! The puppet-masters were running the show anyway. Biden will just be more of the same.

I believe Trump has made a very shrewd, if heartless, calculation.
First of all, as I've opined before, he's a far better salesman than most people give him credit for. There's no sale so easy as telling people what they want to hear. Trump's sales gift is ferreting that thing out.
Here's the calculation:
While at the moment, people are divided about reopening, ultimately, most people are most concerned about the need to pay their bills. Trump has made it so that bill-paying will be impossible without going back to work RIGHT NOW!, no matter what. With 3/4 of all emergency federal spending going to corporations and financialism, the average Jane or Joe is getting crumbs off the table of what Trump is willing to spend. But they won't see that. So they won't be disgruntled about not getting more.
The second part of the calculation has to do with the personal experience of COVID-19. At this point, unless you're a doctor or nurse, or you live in NYC, your direct experience of COVID-19 is nil. Trump is betting that not many people will lose a beloved nana or granpa (a number of them will die, but not too many will be mourned by the grandkids), or even a beloved mother or father. Those few who will be mourned are in numbers that can be easily and ignorably - even smugly - flushed, like they've done in Sweden.
Et voilà! The re-open RIGHT NOW !! reelection strategy, even if it provably kills people. Even tens of thousands more people.*

If Obiden gets the nom, who knows who will actually run the campaign - but certainly he won't know, even if it really was his wife/sister/daughter ande he actually could recognize one of them.
On the other side, Trump has created trouble. He has been bragging that he was able to spend more money, create more debt, than anybody else has ever been able to. No conservative can support this nonsense.
Polls have been showing the public is fed up with this spending spree, and some of his polling numbers have suffered. Fake News has been trying to convince the Sheeple Lemmings that this drop in figures is a result of his Fake Impeachment, or something about response to Wuhan Coronavirus, or anything other than his rampant spending spree.

The president told Chris Wallace that the mental competence test he recently took was “very hard,” specifically the last five questions.
Just to be clear, the president “passed” the test, a fact he’s boasted about on numerous occasions. “I aced it,” he proudly told Fox’s Sean Hannity earlier this month. The problem is that none of the questions on the standard Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) test are supposed to be hard if you aren’t suffering from dementia of some kind. Crowing that you “aced” the MoCA is a bit like bragging that you passed a sobriety test while sober. Nixon would be so proud of Trump.

It must need some instructions, I don't get it.

Again, I don’t see any critical thinking skills here. The major point regarding Trump and his supposed IQ memory test is. Trump is telling America that remembering Person woman man camera TV is very difficult and the doctors were amazed he could do it.
What, and he’s running the country. Why do you think the press keeps playing it? They can’t come out and say he’s a moron because they are being delicate. People who take this test may have Alzheimer’s disease. And that is very sad.
However, it’s gold and shows Trump to be cognitively deficient. Final point is that because he is cognitively deficient he doesn’t get it. Now, I have to ask why none of you except second gets it?

I don't know if the ads are regional. Saw a new ad, for Obiden. Has a bimbo from Greenfield, WI yakking about her mom who died from Wuhan Coronavirus on April 29.
Greenfield is a suburb of Milwaukee, the Socialist capital of America - for about 7 decades. WI is stuck with a Libtard Gov after stealing the election, and Milwaukee has been Democrat/Socialist control forever. It has been the worst offender of Coronavirus case explosion and deaths, which Dems use as pretexyt to shut down the entire State, all 72 counties.
Not sure if the ad is shown outside the region.

Anybody heard Obiden's virtual town hall?
He explains that Latinos are diversified and can think for themselves, unlike African-Americans.

I heard Obiden has been told his choices for VP are Kamala Harris and Susan Rice.
But some are still pushing for Moochelle Bama. Or their plan is for Rice to ascend to President and then select Moochelle as Veep, after which Rice will be suicided so that Moochelle can select Hilliary.

Yeah. That one was pretty cringe.
He actually said something along the lines of "Unlike the black community, except for a few rare instances, there is a lot of diversity of thought within the Latino community."
Maybe the "few rare instances" were people like these?
It's going to be funny when Biden discovers on November 4th how many more free thinking blacks there are in this country than he assumes there are.

Now this is an interesting compilation of polls.
And it'll all be fine until they have to take Biden's muzzle off.

MSM is reporting that only about 100 folks will show up for the DNC in Milwaukee in a couple weeks. Not including Obiden, Kamala.

I learned that early ballots will be delivered by 4 September.
Obiden is refusing to debate prior to 29 September.
That might just be the best strategy for how to get Obiden to win.

I found myself thinking back to when Tulsi Gabbard was running. Not only was she greatly entertaining, but she made so much sense on so many topics, in contrast to what we now must muddle thought. The Infection Election. Creepy Uncle Joe. BLMball games on TV. AntiFag looters and rioters run amok.
Ahhh, the good olde days were only a half year ago.

That's why Trump wanted two more debates scheduled earlier. Of course Biden wasn't on board.

Obiden is scheduled to make a public appearance!!! On planet Earth!! He might even bring his scripters so that he could speak.
Trump came to Appleton/Oshkosh last month, and Gev Skeletor Evers (pronounced EVE-erz) admonished that he must wear a mask. A few days ago Trump came to Kenpsha, WI - and Evers pleaded do not come, told Trump not to come.
Now with news that Obiden is planning to come to Kenosha, not a peep from the Libtard Gov.
shockers

I've seen a TV ad about how Obiden will provide enough PPE if he is elected.
The gall of this assclown. After Obiden/Bama pilfered and depleted the supply of FEMA masks and then refused to allow replentishment of the stockpile, so that there were none when Covid came along.
The entire problem with the lack of masks was all the fault of his administration with Barack Hussein.
What a complete ass.

Sounds like Obiden won't be showing up for any debater, he will hide behind his teleprompter.
Other Dems are refusing to show up in person to any debates, and a pretextual foundation for creepy Joe to do the same. Like Jay Inslee

I heard report that more GOP Primaries have been won by women, minorities, Veterans, than ever.
Does this spell the demise of Dems as a Nationwide Party?
The last time a Party was wiped out was Federalists, who mostly became Whigs and then Republicans.
If Dems are kaput, then GOP can divide a little, so there could be several Right choices on ballots.

Yes.
And for the second time, he has Mr Tybring-Gjedde to thank. Who is he? He is a complete fucking wacko if there ever was one: He has been described by media commentators and scholars as far-right, anti-immigrant and Islamophobic. In 2019 Tybring-Gjedde said his party should position itself as national conservative. In 2020 he spearheaded an attempt within his party to declare Norway a "patriotic beacon", arguing that "liberalism is a dead ideology"; summarising the core content of this policy, he said that his party should call for "a complete ban on non-western immigration", a referendum on immigration and adopt the view that "climate change is not man-made". He has also advocated limited government intervention, reduced public spending, and tax reduction. Tybring-Gjedde has stoked controversy on numerous occasions. His pro-Russian views have been criticised by Norwegian conservatives. He has been described as "one of Norway's most controversial anti-immigration politicians"; political scientist Sindre Bangstad has described him as one of the "main traffickers in extreme right-wing rhetorical tropes about Islam and Muslims" in Norway. Tybring-Gjedde was a civil servant in the Ministry of Defence before he entered politics.

That's fine. Let the TDS sufferers pretend that we're not under the only administration in the last 40+ years that hasn't started any new wars, has been brokering peace among foreign entities thought to be impossible to ever accomplish and has been very loud about shouting down the warmongering machine that has infected both sides of the aisle for decades.
You people are fucking idiots and are great examples why we should strip people with double digit IQs from the right to even voice an opinion on anything.
But it was great seeing Barry get that Peace Prize right before he started all of those wars though.
