I hope you can see how incompatible repealing the Minimum Wage is with what about half of Americans want. Blah... blah... blah...
And picking two extremely narrow programs to demonstrate that Americans have "no" interested in common is dishonest, just like you.
Let's start from the basics: Most Americans (except possibly anorexics, those with pica and some other pathologies) have an interest in access to tasty, nutritious food. Correct?
It is 334 wants or interests by Republicans and most of those interests are as crazy as hell. 87 is an exception: "War Powers: Congress shall not abdicate the war powers to the executive branch except when under imminent threat and not to be used as a preemptive strike unless approved by Congress." But the very next one, 88, makes abortion murder.

One more. Is it in Americans' interest to have pure air? Republicans have an interest: #13. Carbon Tax -- We oppose all efforts to classify carbon dioxide as a pollutant. Ok, we have several areas of agreement.
BTW, I'm not a big fan of water fluoridation. Tooth decay rates have fallen everywhere, not just in areas where water is fluoridated. I think it's more important that people have access to uncontaminated water, rather than fluoridated water, and generally-speaking well-water (high in magnesium) is better than surface water. But, I would not propose adding magnesium to water either.
Carbon dioxide is not a TOXIC pollutant. It makes no difference whether you breathe 200 ppmv, 400 ppmv, or 600 ppmv. The upper limit on carbon dioxide in breathing air is about 1000 ppmv, well above environmental levels and more of a "sick building syndrome" or concern for people breathing bottled air, like SCUBAdivers. The inclusion of carbon dioxide as an air pollutant is to mitigate its climatological effects, not health effects.
I'm against cap-and-trade as a regulatory strategy, and I'm not nuts either.
Instead of looking for areas of disagreement, is it possible for you to look for areas of agreement?
BTW, I want to know what YOU think, not what "Texas Republicans" think.

Nearly every item of 334 items is incompatible with everything the rest of the world and most Democrats believe is right. The American slave-holders had the same problem of beliefs incompatible with the rest of the world.
