Possibly this rush to conflict is connected to Americans reading too often the Bible book of Revelation. God does not negotiate or find common interest. He goes directly to Armageddon. I hope you can see how incompatible repealing the Minimum Wage is with what about half of Americans want. The Opt-Out is slightly trickier. It cannot coexist with Social Security continuing the same benefits or more. Social Security falls apart as would Federal Income tax collection fall apart if people could opt out by signing a form that they won't pay Federal taxes and they will renounce receiving protection from the Department of Defense/EPA/FBI/Medicare/whatever.
Everything on the list of GOP's interests is in direct conflict with everything on the list of Democrats' interests. This makes it impossible to know What are Americans' Interests. You will need at least two non-intersecting lists of Americans' Interests, one for Republicans, one for Democrats.

And picking two extremely narrow programs to demonstrate that Americans have "no" interested in common is dishonest, just like you.
Let's start from the basics: Most Americans (except possibly anorexics, those with pica and some other pathologies) have an interest in access to tasty, nutritious food. Correct?

Second doesn't actually have any money. We already know he's a liar, but that's the problem with locking yourself in a corner with a big lie like this one and not confessing you were lying. It puts you in a position where you're a liar and a hypocrite too.
