IDK if its fair to throw in Terminator, as that was dying before #MeToo Wokeness poison. And no one asked for She-Ghostbusters or yet ANOTHER Charlie's Angels.
No one.

Well... I have made the argument that it's probably not fair to throw a lot of these things in there. I think part of the reason why the SJW's have been so successful in doing this stuff is because the properties were already being destroyed long before the vultures got to it.
Star Wars was not in good shape before Disney bought it.
The next few years should be interesting though. You can't say the same thing about the Marvel Universe, but all signs point to a "woke" future. That will be hilarious to watch, if true.

The gender swapping aspect of all this is just insufferable. We already have plenty of examples of real women showing leadership and bravery to be exalted, but hell... that's not nearly enough for the woke piranha.

Don't forget race too.
I'd be pretty insulted myself if Hollywood decided that instead of coming up with new beloved characters for diversity we have to change old ones. Black Panther showed that it can be done.
There was recently a live performance of Frozen where the mother and father were Asian and black, respectively. But Anna and Elsa were white girls with blonde hair.
I've heard that the performances by everyone were excellent. That doesn't take away from the fact that it's distracting and pulls you out of the performance.

Well, Dr. Who went from gender swap to race swap in no time.
But Thor, James Bond, Black Panther, Captain Marvel...all have endured or will get a gender swap soon.

Don't forget black Ariel.

Ouch....
Week 7's weekend woes for Episode 9.
Sunday night's take? Estimated only $607,000, and a total weekend take that is only slightly above what Joker pulled in for the weekend of Week 8.
Per theater averages at 2,202 theaters showing it are $387 on Friday, $787 on Saturday, and only $276 on Sunday. This could be the first week where it pulls in a figure only in the double digits per theater.
Last Monday saw a 75% drop from Sunday to Monday. If that were mirrored this week, that would be a per average total of only $69 on Monday.
That's not going to happen tough. Last week also only had a 30% drop from Saturday to Sunday and this week had a 65% drop on the same day, likely due in large part to the Superbowl. It's probably going to level off somewhere in between. I'm expecting a Monday per theater average of around $150, which outside of deal Tuesday is probably where it will more or less remain. I don't really expect to see a low of less than $125 to $130.
If we're going to see double digits, I'd expect it to be on Thursday when is typically the worst performing day of the week for any given movie outside of pre-release screenings.
If it doesn't happen this week, it will happen next week unless they slash at least another 30% of theaters showing it. And if that's all they do, it will be almost dead even with the theaters that were showing Joker on the same week and continue to be embarrassed by per theater averages.

Uh oh...
Monday Night confirmed total: $282,947
Per theater average: $128
It might beat Joker's first sub-$100 day by three weeks on Thursday. It's already hit my predicted low for the week on Monday.
It's going to be close.
Next week for sure unless they slash about 50% of the theaters showing it.
