A flash from the past - November 29, 2018:

The third remarkable thing about Cohen’s plea was its substance. The president of the United States’ personal lawyer admitted to lying to Congress about the president’s business activities with a hostile foreign power, in order to support the president’s story. In any rational era, that would be earthshaking. Now it’s barely a blip. Over the past two years, we’ve become accustomed to headlines like “President’s Campaign Manager Convicted of Fraud” and “President’s Personal Lawyer Paid for Adult Actress’s Silence.” We’re numb to it all. But these are the sorts of developments that would, under normal circumstances, end a presidency.

Trump, who has followed this drama obsessively, knew that his personal lawyer was lying to Congress about his business activities, and stood by while it happened.

Yes. We are numb to it all. Maybe the fucking chicken little Legacy Media should not inundate stupid people with stupid bullshit 24/7 so that legitimate gripes aren't washed away by idiocy.

I blame you, stupid.

A blast from the past – the 20th Century:

Year after year, Mr. Trump lost more money than nearly any other individual American taxpayer when his results were compared with detailed information the I.R.S. compiles on an annual sampling of high-income earners. His core business losses in 1990 and 1991 — more than $250 million each year — were more than double those of the nearest taxpayers in the I.R.S. information for those years.

From 1986 through 1988, while his core businesses languished under increasingly unsupportable debt, Mr. Trump made millions of dollars in the stock market by suggesting that he was about to take over companies. But the figures show that he lost most, if not all, of those gains after investors stopped taking his takeover talk seriously.

Trump has filed lawsuits against his banks and accounting firm to prevent them from turning over tax returns and other financial records and therefore we can’t place a number on Trump’s more recent incompetence at running his businesses.

Trump, at 73, is as financial incompetent and fiscally untruthful as he was in his 40’s. How can you know for sure, since he has 3 Supreme Court cases pending to keep his tax returns secret when laws say he is suppose to make his returns public? You only need to look at the accelerating National Debt to know that. If he actually understood money, and his business history says he does not, the debt would decrease during boom times, or at least decelerate the increase.

lol

Yanno, given that we've long since moved to a currency beyond money and built on nothing but ones and zeros floating around in the ether that can't even be backed up by the printed monopoly money anymore, the ONLY thing that keeps the US currency value is faith.

That's something that I've heard my entire freakin' life, but it's never been more true than it is today with $22 Trillion+ debt.

That being said, it's not idiots like you that I'm worried about, when stories like these come out. It's the rest of the world that somehow still thinks it's a good idea to base every other currency against ours, and those who would like nothing more than to untie the US dollar from Oil. (Russia IS on that list, BTW)

Because of this, Russ Buettner and Susanne Craig and the NYT in general are putting out propaganda that is tantamount to treason.

Do Right, Be Right. :)

I don't know? I'm not fat.

Why is your brain so fat, dude? You're the one who's overindulged with this bullshit and you're still addicted to more.

I abstain from fast food and fake news.

Do Right, Be Right. :)

If America falls apart, it won't be because of ones and zeros. It will be because too many fat, lazy and stupid Americans dying from the CO2 they dumped into their own air. Fat, lazy, stupid and obnoxious describes Trump. He is the number one dumper of CO2 and proud of it. "The US military is a bigger polluter than more than 100 countries combined":

Conservative commentator George Will offered a stirring and stark assessment of what Donald Trump's presidency will mean for our politics and our culture:

"I believe that what this president has done to our culture, to our civic discourse ... you cannot unring these bells and you cannot unsay what he has said, and you cannot change that he has now in a very short time made it seem normal for schoolboy taunts and obvious lies to be spun out in a constant stream. I think this will do more lasting damage than Richard Nixon's surreptitious burglaries did."

That's George Will, folks. Not Rachel Maddow.

Will's broader argument is that Nixon's coordinated burglaries at the Democratic National Committee were secret and, once revealed, broadly condemned by the public and the two political parties. What Trump is doing is happening right in front of our faces -- and with the assent of the Republican Party.

Donald J. Trump @realDonaldTrump tweeted about that assent of the Republican Party:
95% Approval Rating in the Republican Party. Thank you! 191 Federal Judges (a record), and two Supreme Court Justices, approved. Best Economy & Employment Numbers EVER. Thank you to our great New, Smart and Nimble REPUBLICAN PARTY. Join now, it’s where people want to be!

Bullshit dude. If fat, lazy, stupid Americans die from the CO2 that we've dumped in the air, than EVERY FUCKING BODY dies from the CO2 that we've dumped in the air.

Stay on point, retard.

If the ONLY thing keeping any value behind the US Dollar is faith, than articles like this serve only to destroy that faith worldwide.

What? Do you believe that Putin didn't read that fucking article, genius?

Do Right, Be Right. :)

Just wait until November, buddy.

Democrats as we know them are about to go extinct.

That shit-show of a party certainly is due for an enema.

Maybe after they lick their wounds this time they can come crawling back and kiss my ass and beg to have me back. They did this to themselves.

Do Right, Be Right. :)
