RE the "Robert e Lee" thread...

The index number immediately before that is #61860 and pulls up "Tourists killing cute baby dolphins" posted Aug 17, 2017

the index number afterwards is #61862 "Boston strong ..." posted Aug 20, 2017

But when I enter the index number in between #61861 (presumably the thread in question) I get that "encountered unknown error" message. There's supposed to be something there but the database doesn't pull it up. It says to email Haken so I guess you have to email Haken.

Well, I think I know what went wrong with the one thread - the author changed the title, more than once. It looks like that scrambled the database.

There are actually 2 threads I found with the same number that have 2 different titles:

I think it was a THUGGER thread because as I recall I gave him grief over the Rober/ Roberta double mistake. But this is the first time I recall Rober/ Roberta E Lee being called a Nazi sympathizer! Which would be quite the time-travel. So that 'Nazi sympathizer' bit appears to be a later addition, after the whole Rober / Roberta fiasco.

But yeah - for all three of them your answer is Haken.

Can you actually see the thread titles? And how did you get them? When I click on your links I get "unknown error" so for me those (that?) thread(s) are (is) still inaccessible.

But just for amusement, I ran across a thread about that index # "The Golden Showers Dossier" in which THUGR, WISHY, and SHINY go into a circle jerk about IQ points, all the while sharing arrant nonsense about a dossier which (by now) has been completely discredited.

Which brings up the fact that REAVERBOT, SHINY, and JO have completely disappeared. I think that's a shame. People should be prepared to be challenged about their beliefs, and to be able to defend them adroitly, without personal attack. That IMHO is the only way to learn: You can trace the contours of your ideas and beliefs only when you run into something different.

I found those thread titles under WISHY's 'view all posts'. For all I know I can see them under my 'view all posts', or your 'view all posts', or somebody else's 'view all posts', I just came across them under WISHY's first. And maybe for all I know, there are OTHER versions under somebody else's name as well! I just looked for 'monuments', which is how I found the 2 versions.

ANYway ... I right-clicked on the title/ s, clicked 'copy link location' then pasted it/ them into the address bar (not paste & go, just paste) - I just wanted to see the url/ s. I could have pasted it/ them anywhere - into a text file or whatever, I just used a handy new tab/ s as a convenience to see it/ them.

It sounds like we can all see that SOMEthing was there, but can't view the contents. Typical database corruption.
