Whole family is sick, according to CA Dept Public Health influenza B/ Victoria, same as Kiki. It's making the rounds! Two of hubby's doctors were sick with it.
Aches. Headache, cough, wheeze, fever. No fun
Went off to a lumber yard to help hubby pick out some planks powered on ibuprofen, then topped off with more ibuprofen to go grocery shopping but after that I'm going home to bed. I can hardly wait!!

I get it once every year or two and it usually knocks me out of the game for at least 3 to 5 days. Probably because my lowered defenses from the oral issues. Hit me real hard last winter. Hopefully it passes me by this time.

I'm okay Kiki. It was slick snow-mush. Bus I was on couldn't get close enough to the curb. I got off the bus alright but when I tried to step up on the curb, what I was stepping on wasn't solid and down I went. Then when I tried to get up again, I couldn't. A gentleman wanting the bus helped me with my cane to get back to my feet. I just stood for a minute till I could walk to my chiropactor's office. Good thing I had an appointment with him today.
I am and was fine the rest of the day and no damage done than what I had done over last weekend to myself.

Had some side projects taking me away from the house work recently. They worked out well. Managed to grab a whole bunch of good stuff at a steal too... some of it I wouldn't have bought right now if it wasn't such an amazing price, and most of it I would never have paid full price for at any time. I don't know if Sears is going out of business or not, but if you ever wanted any Craftsman tools at a steep discount, now's the time to buy. 
I think I'm going to switch modes here and caulk what I have done so far, even though all the trim upstairs isn't done yet and I haven't even begun the windows. Reason being that caulk dries fast and is paintable pretty shortly after it's applied, if I don't use a whole tube it's not going to go bad on me before I get back to it. I'd like to have the door frames ready to go for the doors sooner than later. The only door painting on the 5 doors that I've done already that still needs to be done is flipping the bedroom doors over and giving them two coats on the other side. The 3 bi-fold doors are all ready to go up. I was going to wait until all the trim and windows were done before I began caulking and spackling before the final coat, but I don't want to worry about staging doors in places where they might accidentally get whacked when I could just hang them where they belong.
During the spring I'll do the doors to the attic and the bathroom. I didn't want to be in a huge rush to get them done since they're going to take almost as much work as the two bedroom doors (minus hole patching), and if I don't have my attic door on right now I'm just throwing a ton of money away on heat. At least the two doors on the 1st floor are already painted so I won't have to do nearly as much work prepping them for a paint job.
I might still wait on the spackle for the nail holes on the front of all the trim as the last thing I do though. I've already opened that container once to fill the holes in the doors, and even though I've wrapped the container up in foil and it's not hot in my house, that stuff's shelf life diminishes exponentially the more you open it up and I'd rather not have to buy more later just because half of it dried out.
The baseboard is practically done now except for the final bedroom pieces that will meet the closet doors and the closets themselves... and also the smaller cuts I'll need to make in the hallway. The closets themselves will be a breeze, but the rest will be fairly tricky. I want to put a cool little 45 degree cut on the ends of the pieces for the closets that will have a tiny 45 glued to the end of them with wood glue. I have to find that youtube video on how to do this properly again. It looks 100 times nicer than just having a dead end on the baseboard. What makes this even trickier is that the other side will need the 22.5 degree scarf joint to join with the final piece in one room, and the other room will need a coped angle on the end. I think the coped end is going to be the trickiest piece I cut. There's basically zero wiggle room here since the lengths need to be spot on otherwise the nice 45's will either come up too short and look stupid that far away from the closet doors, or they will be too long and will interfere with the flow of the bifold doors. Even trickier on the small bedroom to figure out because there currently are no closet doors until I buy them, so I will have to use what I have in the other bedroom as a template for where it needs to rest.
The hallway is going to be a pain too. Some of the pieces will be easy, but with all of those doors that are just barely making it to the wall and the ones I had to rip, I'm going to have to get a little creative with the baseboard cuts since it will look bad if I just but the ends of baseboard to the fronts of door casings. I dug up old pictures of the house and saw how it was done originally and they had the crappiest and smallest trim available so t
