Are you 10 years old and drunk too?

That reply doesn't make any sense.

It makes sense to anyone with an IQ above 60 or so. Do you have an IQ above 60?

Did you mean "it". You typed "in". You didn't mean "it", did you? You're aware of the fact that "it" and "in" are two entirely different words, aren't you?

lol

Moron.

Forgive me if my cat climbing onto my lap causes a mistype. Or, that I even have a mistype. Oh my god what will I do! That said, I'll post in this thread as long as you want. Figure it out dummy.

Think about it twice before you accuse somebody of having an IQ lower than sixty when your cat's always jumping up in your lap and making you post nonsense.

A few days later and the fridge is still running better than ever before.

Nice that you'll be getting a warm weekend, Brenda. Pretty nice around here right now, but our weekend is going to be frigid... probably the coldest we've seen all season.

I can't complain too much though. It's the middle of January and except for Halloween and early November it's been an unseasonably warm winter with very little precipitation.

As I've said. I'll stay and chat with you in this thread as long as you wish. Every time you post to me you give me license to return. Thanks gack...

Carl Sagan's Baloney Detection Kit

Wherever possible there must be independent confirmation of the facts.

Encourage substantive debate on the evidence by knowledgeable proponents of all points of view.

Arguments from authority carry little weight (in science there are no "authorities").

Spin more than one hypothesis - don't simply run with the first idea that caught your fancy.

Try not to get overly attached to a hypothesis just because it's yours.

Quantify, wherever possible.

If there is a chain of argument every link in the chain must work.

Occam's razor - if there are two hypotheses that explain the data equally well choose the simpler.

Ask whether the hypothesis can, at least in principle, be falsified (shown to be false by some unambiguous test). In other words, it is testable? Can others duplicate the experiment and get the same result?

Since you seem to be too mentally or morally incapably of using Sagan's 'baloney' detection kit, or even to understand or admit what the words in it mean ('evidence' has never been a viable concept for you), the next time I post Sagan's kit, I'll spell out all they ways you're deficient. Now, you may be too incapable or corrupt to admit your deficiencies, but I'm sure everyone else will manage to understand.

BTW, keep posting here just because you can't address my posts in their relevant threads. I'm sure you generate all sorts of illwill, and convince absolutely nobody by doing that.

So, NOT such a GREAT LIFE CHOICE! But I'm sure it matches your other fear-driven life choices that make you such a useful idiot.

It's a small possibility Jack. It snowed just a tiny bit today when I was out. So word for the weather in BC is stayed tuned.

Hey, I love Sagan. I just don't like you reposting it over and over again when some else posts on the thread after you. Trolling kiki, you're just trolling.

Just because someone ignores a post doesn't make it less true, topical, and worthwhile. So I'll repost anything that's true, topical, and worthwhile because it deserves a true, topical, and worthwhile reply. And the fact that it's true, topical, and worthwhile makes it NOT TROLLING.

And I'll feel free to repost something that's true, topical, and worthwhile, despite your attempts at extortion - which btw is blatantly obvious to everyone else, no matter how much you try and disguise it.

But, I'm with Jack. Feel free to make enemies and convince no one. I'm sure it goes along with your other horrible life choices.

Even more good news on the home front...

My concerns that major shifting and settling on the porch addition to my house have gotten out of hand since I've lived here were all in my imagination.

True, you can see an out of level pitch on the porch as it goes away from the house, but I just dug up all the pictures that I had from before I bought it and it was just as "bad" back then. Both my friend and my old man were telling me this summer that I was just imagining it and they could hardly even tell that it was happening from the street while I was showing it to them. So that coupled with the lack of "cracking" noises now that the fridge is working fine is really putting my mind at ease about any problems that would be out of my control without big money expenditures. It's funny the way your imagination can get out of hand if you let it...

Man... it's really nice looking at all of these old pictures. Even without all the new work that I've been doing, I've kind of forgotten how bad the house looked before I bought it and did all the work on it years ago.

To think... at the low of the housing market and it being in the state it was after a foreclosure, I bought this at more than $90k less than the previous owners did. If I really take my time working on it and I splurge for a new furnace and A/C, I might be able to make a $100k profit or more on it in a few years when it's all done.

By that point, I might reconsider even selling it. It's a lot of outside maintenance for sure, but maybe psychologically I just think it's overwhelming because of all of the other work that needed to be done on top of that. I might think a lot differently about the situation when everything is shiny and new. You sure can't beat the taxes around here, and living is cheap.

Do Right, Be Right. :)
