Trying desperately to boost those viewing numbers, I see. Been a dismal affair so far. Day 1 drew 7 million less watchers than the Mueller report show.

This is why they had a 1 day delay in the hearing, to calculate the public interest and then craft the next day's show accordingly.

Because it's all about ratings, and not 1 damn thing to do w/ the law or what's right for the nation. Nope. Not 1 damn bit.

Ratings for first impeachment hearing show healthy interest and a serious partisan divide

Fox News, the favorite among Trump and other Republicans, had the single biggest audience during the daytime hearings. It averaged 2.9 million viewers at any given time between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Wednesday, according to Nielsen (NLSN) TV ratings.

MSNBC, the favorite among Democrats, was closely behind. MSNBC averaged 2.7 million viewers during the hearings.
On a typical day, Fox News has about 1.5 million viewers during the daytime hours, and MSNBC has closer to 1 million, so viewing levels were certainly elevated due to the impeachment hearings.

he ABC, CBS (CBS) and NBC broadcast networks pre-empted regular programming for Wednesday's hearings as well. ABC and CBS averaged 2 million viewers each, and NBC had nearly 1.67 million.
But a much greater total number of people saw some portion of the hearings over the course of six hours. The granular Nielsen data shows fluctuations throughout the proceedings.

CNN, for example, averaged 1.85 million viewers during the entire hearing, peaking at 11 a.m. when more than 2.1 million were tuned in.
The cumulative average audience for the big six channels listed above was 13 million — about on par with the day former special counsel Robert Mueller testified in July.

Wednesday's hearing was also carried live on PBS; by some local Fox stations; by C-SPAN; and by other television networks.
And the hearing was streamed almost everywhere, on a wide variety of social networks and news websites.

It's impossible to estimate how many people watched or heard the hearings across all platforms, since television, radio and streaming video are all measured in different ways.

Ummmmm... no. At least according to YouTube and other social media sites, he was banned because of harassment, because of a particular live event that took place.

What you're claiming he was banned for is a violation of freedom of speech that you seem to be on board with. after being question about running to Eisenberg, a top White House lawyer, moving the transcripts of the July 25th call to a high security server, even after testifying that he felt there was nothing wrong with the call.

He reported to the WH attorney and not his superior, this after criticizing
Lt. Col. Vindman of bypassing him (Morrison, Vindman's superior) and going straight to Eisenberg. They both did the same thing, only, Vindman was deemed

Why can't I find the actual TEXT of the articles of impeachment in the so-called news?

Anyway, if they're still the same - abuse of power and obstruction of Congress - neither is a criminal offense. That means they fall sort of the 'high crimes and misdemeanors (failure of fiduciary duties)' standard set in the Constitution. Not that anybody seems to care.

And finally, while I prefer that the Senate dispute the articles, and/or take a nice long time investigating everything to do with Ukraine, there's some indication that ALL foreign aid comes with kick-back to the US Congress, administration (Clinton Foundation, anyone?), and maybe even the President, and NEITHER party wants that rotten log lifted. So I expect that this will die a quick, uninteresting death in the Senate.

To be impeachable it must be a CRIME, for example, perjury, as in "I did not have sex with that woman".
Democrats had to skip past quid-pro-quo, extortion, and bribery - which are crimes - because there was no there, there. And they landed on a made-up non-crime.
