Impeachment charges don't hold up at any angle you look at them, whatever your vantage point.

The Democrats already know that. They're attempting to let you all down gently.

Do Right, Be Right. :)

"if you are going to impeach me, do it now, fast, so we can have a fair trial in the Senate, and so that our Country can get back to business."

If Trump wants it, the Democrats should do the opposite. It will drive him crazy in 2020 knowing that his billion dollar tax cheating, which has yet to be decided by the Supreme Court, could sink his reelection.

Or the House Democrats could censure Trump. The Trump lovers in the Senate cannot impeach their lover. The GOP can't file for a divorce since it is against their religion.

They won't do that though. Trump has been able to get them to do whatever he wants so far.

Democrats Are Speeding to Defeat on Impeachment in the Senate

Removing Trump is almost impossible. But slowing down the process over many months will give the public time to absorb the ample evidence of his misconduct. A quick vote in December and a Senate acquittal in January will likely be forgotten by May. That’s the world we live in.

There is value in slowing down and letting key pieces of evidence sink in for the public. Let the public catch up. Let the stories marinate a while. Tell them over and over again. Pause and focus on the key elements. Repetition, amplification and context are your friends.

Why the rush? Democrats, now in the midst of House Judiciary Committee hearings, seem intent on forcing an impeachment vote before Christmas. But moving too fast risks ignoring new evidence that might emerge, failing to pressure key players to testify and/or turn over records, letting the story’s momentum die over the holidays, and playing into Trump’s hands.

The rush to a vote ignores the fact that speed is Donald Trump’s friend.

Trump counts on a dizzying, vertiginous cycle of news, outrage and disinformation to move past damaging stories before they are fully absorbed or placed into context.

Blink and you will miss it: kids in cages, “human scum,” the G-7 and Doral, “send her back,” his fraudulent foundation. Remember when Trump was planning to invite the Taliban to Camp David on the eve of 9/11? And how many weeks has it been since he gave Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan the green light to invade Syria?

Stories that would once have dominated the public’s consciousness for weeks, now can vanish in less than a single news cycle.
By Friday of every week, even those of us who follow the news for a living have a hard time remembering the stories that had consumed our attention on Monday.

The same speed warp applies to impeachment.

Republicans would be making a huge mistake if they just voted on it right away and shut it down.

Democrats voting for impeachment now is a huge gift to them if they were to draw it out for months in the senate.

Sanders and Warren wouldn't stand a chance against Trump in the General, but an impeachment process that has made its way to the GOP controlled Senate would effectively knock them out of the 2020 race and take them off the campaign trail.

You're already hearing the extreme left using the slogan "Democrats so white" now that Kamala Harris has dropped out and any minorities that are still in don't have a shot in hell of winning the primary. Taking the only viable woman out of the race would make that even worse.

lol...

Democrats only three legitimate choices if the Republicans drag out the Impeachment for months are Biden, Buttigieg and Bloomberg.

I wouldn't be surprised if the schism that I predected will happen in the Democratic party comes early if that's all the choices they've got with election day 2020 looming.

Do Right, Be Right. :)

And just watch Pelosi's announcement here...

When she's not stumbling all over her words, you can see it in her eyes. She didn't want this. She just wanted to continue on with an unofficial investigation with no end in sight, so she could make the extreme left happy that something was being done, and so they could pull sound bytes for the Legacy Media to show every single day from now until the election.

Trump forced them into making it official. He's been playing the Democrats from day one.

By making it official, especially this early on, they lose all control of the situation.

Pelosi is a garbage tier human being, but she's not an idiot. She knows how badly this entire thing has gone.

Do Right, Be Right. :)

President Donald Trump has spoken regularly on an unsecured personal cellphone with his personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani — and experts say it’s possible that Russia knows more about their efforts to compel Ukraine to investigate former Vice President Joe Biden than congressional investigators do.

Trump’s decision to disregard national security protocols by using his cellphone instead of secure White House lines raises the question of whether he wanted to avoid White House records of his calls as he worked with Giuliani and other officials to pressure Ukraine to investigate Biden and his son Hunter.

Trump most often used one of three iPhones — two official ones that had some limited protections placed on them, and “a third that is no different from hundreds of millions of iPhones in use around the world.”

There is a particular irony to Trump’s use of a cellphone in defiance of recommendations from his own aides and intelligence officials. In his 2016 campaign for the White House, he hammered Hillary Clinton repeatedly over her use of a private email server during her tenure as secretary of state in the Obama administration as a prime example of corruption. Now, reports indicate that he may have done the same thing — possibly as cover for something strikingly corrupt.
