Battlefield V was ruined SPECIFICALLY because a guy's daughter asked why she can't play as a girl soldier in a historically accurate WW2 based MMO shooter game.
Like in FORTNIGHT.
So the designer chose to just make it happen, screw the absurd inaccuracies, just go ahead and appropriate history w/ a lesbian looking chick who has a bionic arm who fights on the frontline in Europe. Totally fine w/ fanbase, right ?
Utter garbage. I had preordered the game and then cancelled it, telling them why too. Still haven't purchased it, despite it being marked down.

Is KK really that oblivious to the fandom of Star Wars, or is she simply trolling the fan boy community? I can’t for a second believe anyone who has been so involved with the transfer of Star Wars from Lucas to Disney doesn’t get the “source material“.
I would not by any stretch of the imagination consider myself a Star Wars fanatic. More like a casual supporter of the franchise, at least the original three episodes from the movies. Maybe a dash of clone wars, the animated series, but not much more than that. I never bought into the whole merchandise or line of games and what not. I just thought it was a really cool story with some neat effects on screen. If done right, Disney could have continued the tradition and basically just printed money. But instead I think they believe they could do whatever they want with it and still be as profitable. They are about to learn a very hard lesson.

I dunno man. She probably knows and is just lying. I mean, it is a case of one or the other here, and both explanations are bad news.
The real question here is, did Rolling Stone lie to the audience by intentionally not calling her out on the bullshit, or does everybody who works there all the way up to the editor not bother to fact check anything these days? How do you trust anything they publish when you're faced with that truth? Hunter Thompson's ashes are rolling around in one of Johnny Depp's back yards.
I never read any of the stuff, but like I said before, my brother could read a paperback novel of Star Wars in a night or two and probably read over 100 of them.
People were already pissed off that Disney burned the old extended universe to the ground and pumped out the shit that they have so far. Now their tactic is to pretend that none of it even existed in the first place?

KK is full of shit! Iger wrote in his great American novel that George Lucas was pissed that they weren't going to use the outline he gave them for episodes 7-9, so there was source material to go by, she was Hell bent on her "The Force is Female" agenda. She, J.J. and Johnson will be the ones remembered for ruining STAR WARS for this generation, instead of a sci-fi fantasy they gave WOKE horse shit. Next up for destruction Indiana Jones.
