Okay, when Star Wars came out and Hollywood shit in their pants because nothing like this had ever been tried before; then came all the success, and subsequently, the money, the suits in Hollywood fell all over themselves trying to duplicate the phenomenon that was Star Wars. Why? Because white boys
make better heroes? That was the norm for over 100 hundred years. In all those years you didn't hear brown people saying "oh woe is me" did you? It wasn't until recently (the 90s) that you heard a peep from the minorities and women.
Now it's become popular to have diversified heroes. Why!? Money. Now brown people and women can be ripped off by the Hollywood elite, just like everyone else. Gay couples can be taken advantage of by corporate America, just like our straight white counterparts. It's not about white, yellow, brown, gay or straight....it's about green. Cold hard cash money. Yet, you and Rappy see a conspiracy lurking behind every curtain. Sure, there's prejudice in this world, but hiding behind every fake mask!?
Granted, some movies have taken this whole women's movement and tried to force feed the public to accept it as the normal course of things. Fuck that. Don't want to support the movie; great! But replacing white males with brown females, puh-lease! Brown folk have had to deal with this for decades. Replacing? Really!? Try George Chakiris playing a Puerto Rican in West Side Story as Bernardo, the leader of the Sharks.
A white boy from Ohio, whose parents were Creek immigrants. A little tan, a horrible accent, a few dance moves (he was an accomplished dancer/actor).
But West Side Story is more than a musical. It was "woke" long before anyone knew what the fuck that meant.

A white boy from middle America in a movie shining a light on the immigration situation in the 60s. Exposing the fucked up treatment of Americans (Puerto Ricans are Americans) in this country. Even the Jets were treated like garbage. Yes, a white boy from middle America protesting the treatment of immigrants, but he had to play a Puerto Rican in order to do it. Two gangs fighting over "turf" that doesn't belong to them. Only in America.
So please, spare me your indignation about being "replaced" - cry me a river.

Having said all that. Yes, Star Wars, Terminator (not all of them) and other franchises have been poorly written. So don't go. Simple. You want to spout propaganda that white men are being replaced as heroes in film? Go right ahead, but I ain't buying it. Go peddle that shit someplace else. It's all about economics, cash money, getting paid. For years Hollywood pandered to a particular audience, now it's set it's sights elsewhere - whoever has cash to spend at the theater and home video.
If we were invaded by Martians and they assimilated to the American way of life, you guys would be chanting "Martians will not replace us."

Still other states have Spanish names:
Arizona, California, Colorado, Florida, Montana, Neveda, New Mexico, Texas (Tejas). The Spanish were here long ago, they brought disease, hubris and greed. But I digress, humankind comes and goes throughout the world, white people are only one in a world of many peoples.
