Guess it won't matter. Nobody is going to see this one either.

I don't even have to mention that I'm not seeing Episode 9 by now. Here's hoping none of you do either, even out of curiosity. Try to hold out and watch it on KODI if you absolutely have to see it.

It's not just ticket sales, and the associated concessions at the theatre, but also the merch sales... there's just nothing there w/ the new SW movies. Galaxy's Edge at Disney has very little ( actually, it may be none ) original movie references. Just like w/ SW, we're seeing the erasing of not just the white male hero ( Kyle Reese, John Connor ) , but also sweeping aside the old Sarah Connor to groom the next version of herself, the more diverse , ethnic and appropriate version.

Not the point.

Gotta hear all the time about Cultural Appropriation from SJW wack jobs... anything from hair styles to musical tastes, yet at the same time everything going on in every form of media today is the exact and extreme definition of cultural appropriation and somehow that's okay because it's white males being replaced.

Not even going to bother arguing this case beyond that. The ticket sales have already spoken for me. I'm happy to see them lose a lot of money on this one.

AGAIN.

I've been ruining the plot for anybody I can in the mean time. Save them a few bucks to go spend on something else. Maybe seeing Joker a 2nd time instead.

Do Right, Be Right. :)

'I won't insult your intelligence by suggesting that you really believe what you just said.' - William F Buckley

The deaths of Han and Luke were hallow and senseless.
Same for John Conner. ( sorry for spoilers, not sorry )

Introduce new characters , POC as you will, where it makes sense.

Like in the Spiderverse. Miles Morales makes so much more sense and that whole concept is beautifully crafted and executed. He exists just as Peter Parker exists. They're the SAME hero, but neither one has to be killed off or reduced in stature for the other to stand out.

Or Black Panther. Wholly constructed w/ a believable history and foundation , totally unique to its own story which doesn't rip off anyone else or overwrite preexisting characters.

This is such a simple concept, I'm no longer accepting anyone is legitimately tossing around the race card out of concerns of ' social justice '. They're just cowards, taking the short cut to some ill conceived result they feel is due, while ignoring the damage that's being done.

Doesn't anybody remember how crushed they felt when you found out that Newt and Hicks were dead in the beginning credits of Alien 3? How everything that had happened in Alien 2 didn't matter at all after that?

All anybody needs to ask themselves about the new Terminator movie is "how would I feel if it was decided that John Connor wasn't necessary anymore since the timeline was changed, so they killed him in the first five minutes and replaced him with another random white male future hero?"

There would be ZERO point to that. There would also be a TON of outrage as well.

But that's not what happened, is it?

Nope. They decided to kill off John Connor so a minority female could be the new hero of the future. There is also the same outrage, but now the people who are outraged are called sexists and racists.

It's all agenda driven, and it's all bullshit.

Happy to sit back and watch this movie go DOA.

Fuck them.

Do Right, Be Right. :)

Ripley and Newt and Corp. Hicks ( aka Kyle Reese ) all made it back , safe and sound.

There were no further adventures after 'Aliens'.

They all lived happily ever after.

The end.
