Trump does get to decide whether he will lie to the House or order witnesses to not testify or refuse to make available documents, including his tax returns. And the Senate decides if Trump is guilty, which Mitch McConnell has already said Trump won't be convicted.
You know how Trump gets removed from office? Election. Everything else is just sound and fury, although Trump's tax returns, held by the State of New York, could immediately set fire to the Trump Circus Big Top. The size of fire is proportional to the size of Trump's cheating. Little cheating, little fire. Big cheating, big fire, maybe big enough to ruin his election campaign 2020.
1kiki, you should immediately switch your energy to defending the privacy of Trump's tax records. That is the only place he is vulnerable because tax cheating does NOT get decided by Mitch McConnell or the GOP.
