These people have been driven to white hot hatred of Trump. Facts don't matter in the face of overwhelming emotion, which feels so authentic and real. It'll take YEARS for these emotions to die down and for people to come back to their senses. (If ever. I think SECONDRATE is permanently tweaked.)

And the crazy thing is, this isn't the first, second, or even third time Americans have gone thru the spin cycle in the past 18 years. You'd think that by the ~~fourth fiths sixth~~ seventh? time around (9-11! WMD! GWOT! Hope and change! Chemical weapons! Russia invasion! RUSSIA!RUSSIA!RUSSIA! Ukraine!) people would have developed some insight!

I'm done calling them the MSM (Mainstream Media).

They are anything but "mainstream". Refering to them using this misnomer is actually unhealthy for society.

Some call them "lamestream", and while accurate, it doesn't fully convey what they actually are.

Until I come up with something better, I like the term "Legacy Media" as legacy refers to computing.

They need to die off. They've become nothing more than a propaganda machine and only several entities own all of the Legacy media today, most of them owned by multi-national interests.

First of all, I've never, not even once, prescribed anything for any other country. And as deeply as you might search you'll not find one single post where I even hint at me trying to impose anything on anyone.

The only thing I want to see is that other countries get to pick what they want for themselves, without interference, and with a legitimate majority vote.

As to what they pick, aside from disliking some choices as a matter of personal taste - for example, Indonesia's democratically-elected theocratic (Sharia) state - I actually don't care what they pick. After all, IT'S NOT MY COUNTRY, IT'S THEIRS.

And if I dislike it, well, nobody's forcing me to live there, or even visit.
