And after a two week heat wave Guadalajara was buried under two meters... METERS ... six feet, of hail.

Saw that on my 6 o'clock news this evening.

My brother said he experienced a set back today. Guess his mobility was down. He didn't specify.

Going to happen. He must have tried to do too much and his body said, "No way".

That's true. I've seen it many times in my own family and I should have remembered. There are good days and not as good days.

I do wish him all luck though.

Thanks Kiki.

Yeah, I am an expert on doing too much and paying for it later.

Found two more pictures to hang that I did and blew out my left shoulder. Bunch of things to donate donate and 2 pieces of dead electronics. Books too that are ready for me to reorganize a book shelf.

ETA Am now sitting down with a chocolate croissant for a well deserved rest.

Recovery is almost never a straight line. It's usually three steps forward and one (or two and occasionally four!) steps back. As long as over the course of several days he seems to be making progress, that's good.

I have my fingers crossed that he will continue to get better.

As an aside, if the police had to "find" the guy that hit him, it sounds like a "hit and run". Maybe he was drunk at the time and needed a few hours to burn thru the alcohol, and maybe the RCMP (or whoever is handling the investigation) can't prove drunk driving so long after the fact, but he could be in a bunch of trouble.
