Hilarious.

You've got a post to reply to in the other thread.

Don't ignore it, lest we add that to the amount of times you've been owned and ran away.

You seem to be in a hurry to see your little pinhead get pwned again.

Trolls seem to have derailed yet another thread. Such mindless bickering, like they are imploding.

Despite how many times that very word was used to describe Trump, nobody paid attention to anybody in these very forums that said it.

You Democrats are on a roll. First racist, nazi and misogynist. Now you might actually have stripped the word treason of any of its meaning as well.

Congrats on destroying public discourse, right down to the very definition of the words we speak.

Do Right, Be Right. :)

Trolls say that words with definitions are Old-speak, outdated, for folk in the past. Words mean whatever they decide they mean, retroactively.

This analysis concludes that Mueller knew there was no conspiracy before the midterms.

Russiagate hysteria has ushered in a “dark period” for mainstream journalism, Wikileaks’ editor-in-chief told RT, adding that in a just world, the countless journalists who peddled the Russia collusion theory would be out of work.
Speaking to Going Underground host Afshin Rattansi, Kristinn Hrafnsson noted that within twenty-four hours of Hillary Clinton’s “humiliating” defeat in the 2016 election, “Russia became the entity that everything should be blamed on.” But with Robert Mueller’s special investigation ending with a collusion-less murmur, it’s difficult to imagine how journalism will ever recover from two years of Russiagate howling, Hrafnsson said.

We’ve had this frenzy in the media, an absolutely neo-McCarthyist era which is a total humiliation for journalism. Who has gained? I can tell you who has lost. Journalism in general has lost. This is an extremely dark period for mainstream media, especially in the United States and for those who cater to that market.

Insisting that the endless reams of anonymously-sourced collusion “scoops” amount to journalistic malpractice that far surpasses the Iraq WMD fiasco, the Wikileaks editor-in-chief expressed amazement that there has been little to no professional ramifications for reporters who bought into the baseless conspiracy.

I have no idea how the mainstream media, who were most active in this Russiagate frenzy, will recover. I simply don’t see that happening. In a normal world, a lot of journalists would be emptying their desks today.

He singled out Guardian reporter Luke Harding, who once called Wikileaks a “useful idiot” for Russia, and was behind a highly-controversial story published in November which alleged that former Trump campaign manager Paul Manafort had made several visits to Julian Assange at the Ecuadorian Embassy in London. Wikileaks is currently suing The Guardian over the uncorroborated story.

“Who’s the idiot?” Hrafnsson asked. “Luke Harding published a book called ‘Collusion’ where he maintains that there had been collusion and that Wikileaks was in the midst of it. But his own paper is now printing front page stories telling him that he was wrong. I mean, does he still have a job at the Guardian?

And finally, the last and possibly most important result of the Russia gate hoax: Internet censorship.

Democrats, the compliant legacy media, and, most importantly, platform providers/internet publishers were quick to call for a culling of alternate viewpoints on the basis that it was "Russian propaganda". "Prop or not".

Twitter, Facebook, YouTube and Google were quick to deplatform, demonetize, or shadowban people who did not echo the RUSSIA!!RUSSIA!!RUSSIA!!! hysteria. Of all of the effects of this hoax, this may be the most pernicious and difficult to reverse.

So, for two years we have been treated to a targeted investigation which

Was based on an unverified "dossier" and illegal FISA warrants and carried out by a politicized FBI and CIA and DOJ, leading to loss of confidence in the objectivity of these agencies.

Involved foreign governments (primarily British MI6 but also Malta and Ukraine) who meddled in a USA election

Stampeded a large part of the population into believing that RUSSIA!!! is a mortal enemy and that Trump is a Russian puppet

Ruined any chance of normalizing relations with Russia and withdrawing our troops at least from Syria and the Mideast

Affected the midterm elections

Exposed the legacy media as lying whores who peddle fake news

Enabled censorship of alternate media/ viewpoints and stifled freedom of speech because of paranoia over "Russian propaganda"

The "Mueller Investigation" may be over but - just like the WMD hoax - its effects will go on and on.

*****

It has taken some people YEARS to accept that they were fooled by the "WMD" hoax, and to finally get over its emotional tug. I hope that those people have learned that the media engages in bald-faced lying. I can only hope that others will eventually come to accept the lessons of this latest hoax, stop reverberating emotionally from this deliberate propaganda campaign, and view the M$M and social media with appropriate skepticism.

Your article mentions conspiracy and collusion. Too bad for you, but neither of those words did Mueller give a damn about.

So where the heck did the term 'collusion' come from? From Manaford and Junior.

On July 22, 2016, the Washington Examiner reported that Paul Manafort and Donald Trump Jr “vigorously denied any kind of collusion between Trump Sr. and the Russian president.”

The word “collusion” came from Manafort and Trump Jr.
It’s probably here to stay, despite its being a legal non sequitur.

If Mueller wasn’t looking for “collusion”, what was he looking for?

Did Mueller find any Russians, as he was requested to look into? Yes, he did:

Russian or related individuals and entities charged

In February 2018, the special counsel charged 13 Russians and three Russian entities with conspiring to defraud the United States and interfere with the 2016 presidential election. Mueller targeted the Internet Research Agency, a Kremlin-linked company that engages in influence operations and aimed to spread distrust toward candidates and the American political system. By mid 2016, the Internet Research Agency had established a strategy of supporting Trump’s candidacy and disparaging Clinton.

In July 2018, the special counsel indicted an additional 12 Russian intelligence officers for their role in the hacking of the Democratic National Committee, the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee and the Clinton campaign, and leaking of emails and documents.

The special counsel also charged Richard Pinedo, a California resident, with identity fraud. Pinedo sold bank account numbers over the internet to the Russians. His lawyer said he had no connection to Trump and was unaware that customers were involved in the Russia influence operation. Pinedo pleaded guilty and was sentenced to six months in prison in October 2018.

Maria Butina, a Russian living in the United States, pleaded guilty to conspiring to act as an illegal foreign agent in December 2018. Butina has been accused of trying to infiltrate Republican power circles by reaching out through conservative groups such as the National Rifle Association. The indictment doesn’t mention Trump, although the New York Times reported that she tried to help broker a secret meeting with Trump and Putin during the 2016 campaign. Butina was prosecuted by the U.S. Attorney’s Office in D.C. and not Mueller; however, she is cooperating with the Mueller investigation and in February federal prosecutors sought to delay her sentencing.
