Migrant children have gone to Bethany Christian Services, an adoption organization with deep ties to the DeVos family.
The Trump administration argued in court earlier this week that reuniting migrant children separated from their parents at the border would require too much effort and “would present grave child welfare concerns”, as the children would be traumatized by leaving their current sponsors’ homes.
Though concerns for the psychological well-being of the children are specious at best, considering the original trauma was inflicted by the administration, the situation has a second nefarious element: many of these children are being sent to a Christian adoption agency with ties to Education Secretary Betsy DeVos.

As for the fate of the thousands of children the Trump administration does not want to reunite with their parents, Progressive Secular Humanist previously reported that many of the migrant children ruthlessly separated from their family by the Trump administration are being shipped to Bethany Christian Services, a Christian adoption agency with ties to the family of Education Secretary Betsy DeVos.
Rewire News reported last year that the agency was handling migrant children who suffered separation from their families under President Trump’s “zero-tolerance” immigration policy.

A very rational and personal perspective that none here could ever hope to match, evidenced by "no response" from anyone (up until now). I hope that you understood where I was coming from in my comments about the Europeans first coming to this country. I was offering up an analogy, a fairy tale of sorts.
What would America be like without the thieving, and murderous, Europeans that
followed those early settlers.
And what makes it even more ironic, is how Trump describes the "hordes" coming from south of the border; those blood-thirsty savages and animals that mean to destroy our culture and way of life. It boggles the mind how accurate he
describes it - but in terms of the relentless take over of this land from those who lived there for thousands of years undisturbed. A case that's been
repeated around the globe in various locations where the native people were
friendly and unassuming.
Guam, Hawaii, the Philippines, Puerto Rico....are we sensing a pattern here?
I was commenting on much more than immigration. I was commenting on colonization, on persecution, on history repeating itself. This country was
built on that lie - that the white settlers, these immigrants, were good for the country. That their culture, their mode of living was far superior to that of the natives.
In Puerto Rico, the natives lived happy and free. They shared everything, the Cacique (chief) saw to that. The men would hunt and the women would gather. Each member of the village was important to the well being of the whole. The
Spanish came to conquer and, once gold and other rarities were discovered,
they enslaved the natives and they raped the land. The natives fought back, but the Spanish overwhelmed them and they were slowly killed off through disease and violence. It's still happening today. The island has been devastated and the U.S.A. has turned their back, having "raped" the land and
pointing a finger at the island assigning blame.
Perhaps I was none too clear in my comments. Perhaps Siggy needs to realize something - this world was always expanding throughout history, and will continue to do so. She, as usual, mischaracterizes my contributions and "cherry picks" statements to obscure the true meaning of my comments. In all the years I have been on this earth, and especially in this country, I've been
told that immigration is a good thing. That it has made this country great.
But great for whom?
