The trailers for this had piqued my interest, and I was looking forward to seeing it.

This is a wonderful film. I've seen some references to Fargo, and that is a very apt comparison. The humor, the surrealism, makes you think this is a sequel to Fargo.

The cast is wonderful.
Liam Neeson, not the same character as Taken.
Emmy Rossum. I've enjoyed her work, but haven't seen her lately, so didn't recognize her all bundled up as a cop.
William Forsythe. I've enjoyed his work, and his showing here in this Fargo-ish vein works well. He was also in Raising Arizona.
David O'Hara I always enjoy.
With all the drug dealers here, lots of hotties in the cast.
Julia Jones was in Wind River, and she and Rauol Trujillo were in Longmire.
Also a bunch of Native Americans, I don't recognize them. Their characters seem to be mostly Utes.

I had assumed the setting was Alaska, but it is just Colorado. Filmed in Norway and Alberta.

Very unique End Credit format, I haven't seen it before.

If you pay attention to the religious symbols in the death notifications, you might find some humor there.

No nudity, no blatent graphic violence, but you know people are being killed.

I highly recommend this to film enthusiasts, particularly if you've enjoyed Fargo, Wind River, Pulp Fiction. Seems to be a remake of a 2014 Norwegian film. It is not a terribly complicated plot, but the performances, the script work, the delivery are excellent.

The timing of the release is unfortunate for the Box Office. Ironically, weather for the past 2 weeks have kept much of America homebound, and now a slew of anticipated films plus repeat runs of Oscar contenders are crowding it out of Cinema.

It does remind me in a way of Fargo and if you had bothered to look it up. The film is suppose to be set in Colorado but was actually filmed up here in Canada. The opening shots were filmed in Alberta and the rest here in Fernie BC which does get a lot of snow in the winter.

No, I haven't yet but they have just introduced Tom Jackson's character where I am in the film.

I'll probably give this one a look. Fargo was no Lebowski, but I enjoyed it. Not as much as I enjoyed the TV show though.

Saw Nathaniel Arcand's character Smoke. No wonder I didn't recognize him. His hair was long.

Specially loved one scene of Tom Jackson's on the mountain top watching his crew enjoy the snow and go gliding. He looked like he was going to cut a music video.

I liked that, with a cast of many First Peoples, they were not the "outsiders" of the film, the ones out of their element.

I did still like Wind River better. Fargo was in Minnesota, and I recall the news reports which spawned the film.

I liked Wind River too much better than this.

The inclusion of First Nations actors was done beautifully and a fair mix of Canadian and American.
