(Bloomberg) -- Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s team suspects that Paul Manafort, the onetime Trump campaign chairman, shared polling data on the 2016 election with an associate tied to Russian intelligence and lied about it, according to a court filing by Manafort’s lawyers.

Makes me wonder though... if they did this investigation they must not have found anything too conclusive, otherwise they would have clamped the cuffs on him, right? They wouldn't wait if he was in deep - what would they be waiting for? Actually, a counter intelligence investigation proceeds under the radar. You can bet our allies around the world are working with us. If there is more evidence to gather than you gather it. It reportedly takes years to unravel all in these type investigations.
