Quote:6ix, your problem is with Colin Powell, not Mueller. You are blaming Mueller for referencing Powell’s claim that Iraq had WMDs, a claim that Powell made before the U.N. just days before this video of Mueller. You are blaming the wrong guy, 6ix. Unfortunately, Congress never investigated Powell’s use of the intelligence he was given, so we don’t know many of the specifics. Even so, what did reach the public record in other ways is extremely damning. While the corporate media has never taken a close look at this record, we can go through Powell’s presentation line by line to demonstrate the chasm between what he knew and what he told the world. As you’ll see, there’s quite a lot to say about it.

Public Certainty, Private Doubt
On that February 5 in front of the U.N. Security Council, was Colin Powell certain what he was saying was accurate? He certainly was:
POWELL: My colleagues, every statement I make today is backed up by sources, solid sources. These are not assertions. What we’re giving you are facts and conclusions based on solid intelligence.
Later, regarding whether Iraq had reconstituted a nuclear weapons program, he said:
POWELL: There is no doubt in my mind …
That’s in public. What about in private? According to Larry Wilkerson, Powell’s chief of staff, here’s what Powell was thinking at the time:
WILKERSON: [Powell] had walked into my office musing and he said words to the effect of, ‘I wonder how we’ll all feel if we put half a million troops in Iraq and march from one end of the country to the other and find nothing.’

Thanks for clearing that up.
So what Mueller did was not at all unlike what anybody watching CNN does when they repeat something that Rachel Maddow says with no evidence behind it other than the fact that she said it.
Now it all makes perfect sense.

Quote:Maybe for you, 6ix, but it's not similar enough for me. Rachel Maddow does not make life or death decisions nor does Maddow swear an oath that she knows the whole truth. She has a simpler task: don't deliberately create falsehoods inside her own head then sell her viewers on false "truth". She may say something that turns out not to be perfectly true, but that would be because she doesn't have the power to convict her staff and/or her sources of perjury and throw the liars into jail. Mueller has that power, but he does not have a daily show.

Powell’s loyalty to Bush extended to being willing to deceive the world: Robert Mueller, the United Nations, and the coalition troops about to be sent to kill and die in Iraq. He’s never been held accountable for his actions 15 years ago, and it’s extremely unlikely he ever will be.

Oh, so what you're saying is that Mueller DID have power and responsibility and carelessly lead the nation into war by not doing his due diligence 15 years ago.
No wonder he's taking 2 years to get it right this time instead of just listening to Maddow. It will be all the more heartbreaking for T when nothing comes of it. Woodward spent just as long looking for Russian collusion and didn't find any either.

Quote:6ix, what the hell are you talking about? Mueller already has sent people to jail. He hasn't sent Trump to jail because he never had the power. Only the Senate has that power, by removing Trump from office. Then Trump can go to jail for cheating on the inheritance taxes of his Father's estate, or laundering money for Russian mobsters, or paying women for adultery, or . . . . In retirement Trump will be in court for years defending himself. Because he is old and fat, he will probably die a free man long before he runs out of appeals to stay out of jail, unlike Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán, who is on trial in Manhattan today.

Mueller mentioned his responsibilities in that video. For one thing, Mueller's responsibility as head of the FBI was to track terrorists, but only the ones inside America, the ones who had WMDs hidden in their cars rented at the airport when they flew in from Baghdad with the WMDs. Those are the WMDs that Colin Powell said existed. But if Powell was lying then Powell was wasting Mueller's time defending America from nonexistent WMDs.

Trump’s Exaggerated ‘Conflicts of Interest’ Claims
By Robert Farley, Lori Robertson and Eugene Kiely
Posted on December 7, 2018
In a flurry of tweets, President Donald Trump stretched the facts when he alleged that special counsel Robert Mueller and his staff have “many” conflicts of interests:
Trump falsely claimed that “the woman in charge of prosecuting [conservative author] Jerome Corsi” was “in charge of ‘legal’ at” the Clinton Foundation. Jeannie Rhee, a prosecutor on the Mueller team, worked as outside counsel on behalf of the Clinton Foundation on one case. She was not an employee of the foundation.
The president claimed that Mueller’s legal team — which he referred to as “17 Angry Democrats” — made “substantial & many contributions” to Hillary Clinton’s 2016 presidential campaign. Five team members — including one who has since left the investigation — gave a total of $8,800 to Clinton’s campaign.
Trump accused Mueller himself of “big time conflicts of interests.” But legal ethics experts we interviewed said the president’s arguments don’t hold up.
Trump made his accusations in a string of tweets on the morning of Dec. 7, the same day that Mueller was expected to file court papers in the Russia investigation regarding two of Trump’s former aides: former Trump Campaign Manager Paul Manafort and former Trump Organization Executive Vice President Michael Cohen.
Mueller’s office later detailed how Manafort allegedly violated the terms of his plea agreement. The government on Nov. 26 accused Manafort of “lying to the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Special Counsel’s Office on a variety of subject matters.”
The special counsel’s office also filed a sentencing memo for Cohen, who has been cooperating with the government since pleading guilty on Aug. 21 to tax evasion charges related to his businesses and campaign finance violations related to the Trump campaign. (Cohen also pleaded guilty on Nov. 29 to lying to Congress about a real estate project that the Trump Organization pursued in 2015 and 2016, while Trump was running for president.)
Rhee Not ‘In Charge’ of Clinton Foundation’s Legal Department
In his first of five Mueller-related tweets in the span of an hour, Trump claimed that “the woman in charge of prosecuting Jerome Corsi” was “in charge of ‘legal’ at the corrupt Clinton Foundation.” Not exactly.
Jeannie Rhee, a prosecutor on the Mueller team, worked as outside counsel on behalf of the Clinton Foundation on one case, a lawsuit against the nonprofit in 2015. The lawsuit was dismissed. Rhee was never “in charge of ‘legal'” at the Clinton Foundation, and has never been an employee there.
Robert Mueller and Leakin’ Lyin’ James Comey are Best Friends, just one of many Mueller Conflicts of Interest. And bye the way, wasn’t the woman in charge of prosecuting Jerome Corsi (who I do not know) in charge of “legal” at the corrupt Clinton Foundation? A total Witch Hunt…
— Donald J. Trump (@realDonaldTrump) December 7, 2018
Corsi, a conservative author who was one of the chief proponents of the theory that Barack Obama was not born in the U.S., said he rejected a plea deal recently offered by the Mueller team on one count of perjury related to his previous comments about contact with WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange. According to drafts of court documents obtained by NBC News, Mueller’s team obtained an email from Corsi to former Trump campaign adviser Roger Stone, written two months before WikiLeaks released emails stolen from the Clinton campaign, in which Corsi wrote, “Word is friend in embassy [Assange] plans 2 more dumps. One shortly after I’m back. 2nd in Oct. Impact planned to be very damaging.”
Corsi said he and his attorney met with prosecutors Jeannie Rhee, Aaron Zelinsky and Andrew Goldstein, who alleged that that email contradicted his previous testimony that he had no advance knowledge about the theft of the emails or their pending publication. Corsi denies this.

"I Know Where All The Bodies Are Buried": Clinton Foundation CFO Spills Beans To Investigators
... Clinton Foundation CFO Andrew Kessel made the admissions to investigators from MDA Analytics LLC - a firm run by "accomplished ex-federal criminal investigators," who have been probing the Clinton Foundation for some time.
Kessel told MDA "There is no controlling Bill Clinton. He does whatever he wants and runs up incredible expenses with foundation funds", according to MDA's account of the interview. "Bill Clinton mixes and matches his personal business with that of the foundation. Many people within the foundation have tried to caution him about this but he does not listen, and there really is no talking to him."
MDA compiled Kessel's statements, as well as over 6,000 pages of evidence from a whistleblower they had been working with separately, which they secretly filed with the FBI and IRS over a year ago. MDA has alleged that the Clinton Foundation engaged in illegal activities, and may owe millions in unpaid taxes and penalties.
In addition to the IRS, the firm’s partners have had contact with prosecutors in the main Justice Department in Washington and FBI agents in Little Rock, Ark. And last week, a federal prosecutor suddenly asked for documents from their private investigation.
... Meanwhile, the Clinton Foundation has been under investigation by the IRS since July, 2016 according to a January report by the Dallas Observer - after 64 GOP members of congress received letters urging them to push for an investigation. The investigation is being handled by their Dallas office - far away from Washington insiders.
...MDA was specifically created to investigate 501c3 charities, and researched the Clinton Foundation at its own expense in the hope that the whistleblower submission they compiled might result in a government reward if the IRS was able to corroborate wrongdoing and recover tax dollars.

What Trump needs is a new class of prosecutors, call them Super-Clinton-Prosecutors, who don't care about guilt or evidence, prosecutors who will immediately go to trial based only on what Signym and Trump want. Or maybe go to trial on a whim? Or a hunch? Or a hope?

There is absolutely no evidence of "collusion" (or to put it in real legal terms, "conspiracy") between the Trump campaign and Russia in order to throw the election. Absolutely nothing. Mueller is now trying to scare up some sort of connection between peripheral Trump campaign members (Stone and Corsi) and Assange, and between Assange and Russia, which is his last Hail Mary at linking anything to anything and it will prove to be a dry hole.
Everything else that he's scared up is just his attempt to pressure people over peripheral matters.
There IS, however, very real evidence that Hillary Clinton ran a private server which handled policy matters, and then deleted the emails that SHE said were "private" ... AFTER she was subpoenaed for them. And that the FBI did everything in its power to botch the investigation and put copies of those emails permanently out of reach. Also, very real evidence that Hillary had even MORE connections to "Russia" than Trump (Uranium One).

You know what. You trolls can bitch all you want to about Mueller, Tough shit. Clinton, Obama, Comey have zero legal concerns despite all your years of bitching about them here. Despite all the Benghazi bullshit. People who live in reality know why that is. Not that there is not a lot about them to bitch about, there is, but because the law disagrees with all the fake bullshit about them you guys read in losers digest.
Now, Mueller is kicking Trump and his cronies asses. Destroying them actually. How, he is going by the book. Nothing so far has been shown to be wrong in any of the indictments to date. Again, don't like it, tough shit.
Do me a favor, keep bitching about Clinton and the others. It proves you're all sick about it, and are ready to believe they are going to run afoul of the justice department and wind up being indicted themselves. Not gonna happen.
Oh yeah, do I even need to mention another, a Russian plead guilty yesterday? Boy that Mueller, you gotta hand it to him. Every time he shakes a tree a Russian falls out.

Do you have any idea how meaningless that is?
Since when are "interactions" illegal?
Every "interaction" that I've been aware of has either been (1) part of the normal transition process, or (2) completely divorced from the campaign or (3) exaggerated beyond any meaningful connection (A Trump "associate" met with someone who was reputed to have contacts with someone who was reputed to have contacts with the Kremlin). An entire book has been written from publicly available information about the hundreds of millions of dollars Trump has laundered for Russians. No GOP Senators are interested, none have read the book, so it’s probably only a mid-level item for Mueller’s checklist of things to do before Trump shuts down the Special Counsel. This book tells the story of one of the greatest intelligence operations in history, an undertaking decades in the making, through which the Russian Mafia and Russian intelligence operatives successfully targeted, compromised, and implanted either a willfully ignorant or an inexplicably unaware Russian asset in the White House as the most powerful man on earth.

And G if you go all the way back. Why did sig kiki and others here say those contacts never happened. Despite all the evidence. Shit G, we've gone from absolute zero of any wrong doing by Trump and his cronies, to all the indictments and and guilty pleas so far. Still they cry foul and try to minimize a mountain into a mole hill.
Trolls G, nothing but trolls. I mean shit, with all that's gone down these guys think Mueller is the bad guy. How sick is that?

Signym, does "meaningful" plus "interactions" include Trump taking money from Russian mobsters?
An entire book has been written from publicly available information about the hundreds of millions of dollars Trump has laundered for Russians. No GOP Senators are interested, none have read the book, so it’s probably only a mid-level item for Mueller’s checklist of things to do before Trump shuts down the Special Counsel. Maybe you would be interested?
If you were in high-end real estate in NYC when the mobsters took over Russia (at our instigation) you would have probably dealt with some laundered money. Mobsters often bought real estate thru LLCs and other shell companies. It's like the London (Saudi) and Vancouver/ Sydney (Chinese) real estate markets now. Not nice, not ethical, and possibly illegal ... but nothing to do with conspiracy.

Just so it doesn't get lost in the shuffle: This is what Mueller's investigation reminds me of
*****
I can see Mueller using "process" crimes and unrelated charges to squeeze people for information. I'm not sure how ethical that is .... there's a difference between "building a case" and concocting one whole cloth ... but I'll leave it to the legal experts to tell me whether or not he's crossed any ethical lines.
But when he goes off trying to connect Corsi and Stone to Assange and then Assange to Russia ... or the M$M flings poop into the air to make things seem like more than they are ... well, that sounds like an investigation imploding to me.
It's pointless to continue because there's nothing to discuss. When/if there's something to discuss, I'll continue.

Rosenstein authorized on May 17, 2017: "to ensure a full and thorough investigation of the Russian government’s efforts to interfere in the 2016 presidential election, I hereby order as follows:
(a) Robert S. Mueller III is appointed to serve as Special Counsel for the United States Department of Justice.
(b) The Special Counsel is authorized to conduct the investigation confirmed by then-FBI Director James B. Comey in testimony before the House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence on March 20, 2017, including:
(i) any links and/or coordination between the Russian government and individuals associated with the campaign of President Donald Trump; and

But, in addition, Mueller (and Comey), under public pressure, once pinned an innocent man (Hatfill) with the anthrax letters.
That was ANOTHER investigation for which there was NO EVIDENCE TO CONVICT ...
Quote:
In truth, Hatfill was an implausible suspect from the outset. He was a virologist who never handled anthrax, which is a bacterium. (Ivins, by contrast, shared ownership of anthrax patents, was diagnosed as having paranoid personality disorder, and had a habit of stalking and threatening people with anonymous letters – including the woman who provided the long-ignored tip to the FBI).
So what evidence did the FBI have against Hatfill? There was none, so the agency did a Hail Mary, importing two bloodhounds from California whose handlers claimed could sniff the scent of the killer on the anthrax-tainted letters. These dogs were shown to Hatfill, who promptly petted them. When the dogs responded favorably, their handlers told the FBI that they’d “alerted” on Hatfill and that he must be the killer.
You’d think that any good FBI agent would have kicked these quacks in the fanny and found their dogs a good home. Or at least checked news accounts of criminal cases in California where these same dogs had been used against defendants who’d been convicted -- and later exonerated. As Pulitzer Prize-winning Los Angeles Times investigative reporter David Willman detailed in his authoritative book on the case, a California judge who’d tossed out a murder conviction based on these sketchy canines called the prosecution’s dog handler “as biased as any witness that this court has ever seen.”
Instead, Mueller, who micromanaged the anthrax case and fell in love with the dubious dog evidence, personally assured Ashcroft and presumably George W. Bush that in Steven Hatfill the bureau had its man. Comey, in turn, was asked by a skeptical Deputy Secretary of Defense Paul Wolfowitz if Hatfill was another Richard Jewell – the security guard wrongly accused of the Atlanta Olympics bombing. Comey replied that he was “absolutely certain” they weren’t making a mistake.
Such certitude seems to be Comey’s default position in his professional life. Mueller didn’t exactly distinguish himself with contrition, either. In 2008, after Ivins committed suicide as he was about to be apprehended for his crimes, and the Justice Department had formally exonerated Hatfill – and paid him $5.82 million in a legal settlement – Mueller could not be bothered to walk across the street to attend the press conference announcing the case’s resolution. When reporters did ask him about it, Mueller was graceless. “I do not apologize for any aspect of the investigation,” he said, adding that it would be erroneous “to say there were mistakes

More and more Americans question the Hiroshima bombing. But would they do it again? Maybe.
In the first Gallup poll from 1945 just after the bombings, a huge 85 percent of Americans approved the bombings. However, figures from 2005 show a significant decline to 57 percent. Meanwhile, another poll conducted by the Detroit Free Press in the United States and Japan in 1991 found that 63 percent of Americans thought that the bombings were justified in a bid to end the war, while just 29 percent of Japanese did. Probably just 29 percent of Republicans will think bombing Trump is justified.

One day in the summer of 1969, a young Marine lieutenant named Bob Mueller arrived in Hawaii for a rendezvous with his wife, Ann. She was flying in from the East Coast with the couple’s infant daughter, Cynthia, a child Mueller had never met. Mueller had taken a plane from Vietnam.
After nine months at war, he was finally due for a few short days of R&R outside the battle zone. Mueller had seen intense combat since he last said goodbye to his wife. He’d received the Bronze Star with a distinction for valor for his actions in one battle, and he’d been airlifted out of the jungle during another firefight after being shot in the thigh. He and Ann had spoken only twice since he’d left for South Vietnam.
Despite all that, Mueller confessed to her in Hawaii that he was thinking of extending his deployment for another six months, and maybe even making a career in the Marines.
Ann was understandably ill at ease about the prospect. But as it turned out, she wouldn’t be a Marine wife for much longer. It was standard practice for Marines to be rotated out of combat, and later that year Mueller found himself assigned to a desk job at Marine headquarters in Arlington, Virginia. There he discovered something about himself: “I didn’t relish the US Marine Corps absent combat.”

The way Trump shoots his mouth off about Mueller is much the same as the Viet Cong shooting at Mueller. He will shoot back accurately and in cold blood. Unlike Trump, Mueller won't miss.

How the hell would I know why they lied? How the hell would YOU???
Motives are a hard thing to pin down. Remember the endless arguments about whether George Bush was a liar or just really really stupid? People quite often don't even know THEIR OWN motives.
One possible motive is that because idiots were making such a big fuss about RUSSIA!!!!, people were eager to minimize ANY connection with Russia, no matter how innocent or irrelevant or normal. I've said quite often, for example, that Flynn's REAL big problem was explaining the half-million dollars that Turkey gave to a company that he was working for; plus the discussions that he had about kidnapping Gulen from PA to Turkey. If Flynn was working as an "unregistered foreign agent" for ANY nation, it was Turkey. That itself could have been the leverage that caused him to plead guilty to the relatively minor "process crime" of lying that he (*gasp!!*) spoke to a Russian!.
Those "negotiations" for Trump hotel in Moscow?? Cohen had SUCH an "in" with the Kremlin he had to email to a general email address that anyone could pull off the internet???
If you look in detail at all of these contacts, they seem to evaporate into ... nothing that had any effect on the election.

1) "Running up the deficit beyond comprehension?"
House Speaker Paul Ryan’s legacy can be summed up in just one number: $343 billion.
That’s the increase between the deficit for fiscal year 2015 and fiscal year 2018 — that is, the difference between the fiscal year before Ryan became speaker of the House and the fiscal year in which he retired.
If the economy had fallen into recession between 2015 and 2018, Ryan’s record would be understandable. But it didn’t. In fact, growth quickened and the labor market tightened — which means deficits should’ve fallen. Indeed, that’s exactly what happened in each of the five years preceding Ryan’s speakership; from 2011 to 2015, annual deficits fell each year.
Ryan says that debt reduction is one of those things “I wish we could have gotten done.” Ryan, the man with the single most power over the federal budget in recent years, sounds like a bystander, as if he watched laws happen rather than made them happen.

2) "Putting our nation's wealth on a conveyor to the elite?"
The IRS was gutted by Republicans who didn’t like having their rich friends audited all the time. This GOP war against the IRS has been going on since the mid-90s, when Republicans first started describing IRS agents as jackbooted thugs knocking down doors at midnight and scaring the women and children. But in 2010 Republicans won control of the House. Finally they could really do something to help their donors. And they did.

Federal Deficit 2010: $1.6529 Trillion.
Federal Deficit 2011: $1.2354 Trillion. Before Speaker Ryan. Reduced, but still double the last reasonable Deficit.
Federal Deficit 2012: $1.2867 Trillion. Before Speaker Ryan. This increase is what second calls a decrease.
Federal Deficit 2013: $0.6685 Trillion. Before Speaker Ryan. Reduced, but still far beyond the worst non-Obama Budget.
Federal Deficit 2014: $1.0751 Trillion. Before Speaker Ryan. This increase is what second calls a decrease.
Federal Deficit 2015: $0.3255 Trillion. Before Speaker Ryan. Both House and Senate became GoP controlled following 2014 Election.
And then
Federal Deficit 2016: $1.4194 Trillion. Before Speaker Ryan.
Federal Deficit 2017: $0.6662 Trillion. First Speaker Ryan Budget.
Approximate Federal Deficit 2018: $779 Billion.
These are Fiscal Years.
Paul Ryan became House Speaker on 29 October 2015.
This was already a month into FY2016.
So FY2017 was the very first Federal Budget which Ryan could craft, plan, draft, and negotiate Spending and Revenue Legislation to curb the runaway Federal Deficit.
So the accurate number is $753.2 Billion. The amount he REDUCED the Federal Deficit, first time out of the gate.
Adhering to his historical practice, the Truthometer reading on second is far into the negatives.

Obama ran up ginormous deficits. Yes, I know it was because of the Financial Lockup of 2008. But then he went on to bless even more and more deficits. He DID sign the spending plans, did he not?
Dems same as Repubs: They don't mind spending money on stuff they like.
What's your point?

In any case, my point wasn't the Federal deficit (altho that too is a problem) but the policies of The Fed ... a PRIVATE banking institution which backstops the big banks, sets monetary (not fiscal) policy and which lends the gubmint money. The only group which has benefited from The Fed's "buying up toxic assets" are the banks (not home owners), and the other group which benefited from the Fed's 0 pct interest rates are the stock/ real estate/hedge fund speculators not the credit-card/ car loan/ payday-lending borrowers. The Fed should either be killed or wrangled to the ground,

Federal deficit v debt (definition)
Quote:https://www.investopedia.com/updates/usa-national-debt/
National Debt vs. Budget Deficits
First, it's important to understand what the difference is between the federal government's annual budget deficit (or fiscal deficit) and the outstanding federal debt (or the national public debt, the official accounting term). Simply explained, the federal government generates a budget deficit whenever it spends more money than it brings in through income-generating activities such as individual, corporate or excise taxes. In order to operate in this manner, the Treasury Department has to issue treasury bills, treasury notes and treasury bonds to compensate for the difference: financing its deficit by borrowing from the public (which includes both domestic and foreign investors, as well as corporations and other governments), in other words. By issuing these types of securities, the federal government can acquire the cash that it needs to provide governmental services. The federal or national debt is simply the net accumulation of the federal government's annual budget deficits: It is the total amount of money that the U.S. federal government owes to its creditors.
We can see the difference by simply looking at the amounts:
The Federal DEFICIT has been running in the half to one-and-a-half trillion dollar range, the Federal DEBT is in the $22 trillion-dollar range.
All you chart shows BTW is that UNDER OBAMA, the Federal government VASTLY outspent its revenues to an extent never before seen under any previous administrations - except possibly WWII, which isn't shown on the chart. THE BEST that Obama did to balance the budget was still WORSE THAN any previous administration.
Now, I would say that deficit government spending SHOULD BE counter-cyclical, but as some point someone has to turn down the tap or raise revenues.

I don't know how to explain the discrepancies (which are relatively small compared to what you were posting about) but ONE possibility is that The Fed shows the deficit from January to January, but the Federal government's budget year runs from August to August, so that may explain some "slop" from year to year.
And once again: Your chart clearly shows that Obama's deficits were worse than any other's.

These "disagreements" about Federal deficits and National debts never pivot around different personal values. It's that both Republican and Democratic voters (but only the ones who are not rich) are easily confused and they don't actually know what they are talking about when they talk about Federal money. House Speaker Paul Ryan was depending on you not understanding what he was doing. Signym, JewelStaiteFan, 6ix have been pretty dependable.

Do Right, Be Right. :)
What second is saying is that I used the figure of the increase in Federal Debt from each year to the next year ( which is accurate), and he wants to use a fancy magic number to be defined as "Deficit" for each year.
It is like this: let's say you have 2 accounts to your name, a checking account and an unsecured personal loan. Adding these 2 together one year, we find that you are 20,000 in Debt. 12 months later, we find that you 24,000 in Debt. I would call this a Deficit of 4,000 over the year. But second says that this is actually a Surplus of 100 (if you are a Democrat), or a Deficit of 6,500 (if you are a Republican).
The question is, which figure are you going to believe?
The numbers that second posted claim that there was a Federal Budget Surplus for a few years at the end of the last Millennium, yet every single year the Federal Debt was larger than the year before, never being reduced by any Surplus. Do you believe those figures?

Why is everybody making this more complicated than it is?
The deficit is how much extra debt is accumulated in a single year.
The debt is the overall accumulated debt we've taken on, up to and including the additional debt that was calculated the second that I wrote this.

Is this guy for real? When he was Mayor of New York he had people arrested who tried to make a buck by cleaning your windshield as well as other low level offenses.

But second, and your link, both say the opposite.

But, simply, it is Fake Libtard Maths that second was using. Not too surprising, since second only relies upon Fake News sources.

kiki and others SECOND keep saying no collusion because as you point out, as I, G and others have said before, collusion itself is not a chargeable offense. And, as you, I, G and others have also pointed out, the actual charges may include conspiracy, obstruction, money laundering, campaign finance violations, bank fraud and the list goes on. Hell, we could even see the RICO act enacted.
We've seen as many as 36 or so indicted with guilty pleas and jail time in Mueller's attempt to clean house. Comrade kiki and her few cronies post as though none of that reflects back onto Trump. He is now being investigated up the yazoo and the democrats haven't even started yet. This doesn't even include his corrupt cabinet members.
Trump has trashed our intelligence agencies, our justice department, the FBI and so on. Can you blame them for wanting to expose Trump as being the crook.

Quote:How has the infamous Steele dossier panned out so far? It is a relatively compact collection of information about how the Donald Trump campaign may have worked with the Russians. Looking at it can help to organize the torrent of information coming at us.

Yeah, just like Mueller! Who started investigating on a wing and a prayer and a jacked-up warrant based on a fabricated "dossier".
The dossier includes 15 claims that are now fully or partially supported and 27 claims for which we have no evidence so far. These 27 claims include a fair amount of insider Kremlin gossip.
What I found most interesting is this: although there’s no public evidence one way or the other for these 27 claims, there doesn’t appear to be a single claim that we know with certainty is false. There are claims that have been denied by the American participants, but none that we have documentary proof of being mistaken. Partly this is because it’s hard to prove a negative, but it’s still surprising that not a single claim in the report has been conclusively debunked. It’s especially surprising since the dossier is a patchwork of raw intelligence, and even if it was well done by competent professionals you’d still expect it to include at least a few claims that, two years later, we could say were categorically false.

It’s time to reconsider the Steele dossier. Lawfare has posted an excellent summary, in narrative form, of recent evidence in court filings that supports the material in the dossier. It also gives a good background summary of what the dossier is.
