OBVIOUSLY they want to focus on the most sympathetic characters in the caravan because they want these people here in the USA. So they interview the queer and transgendered and the women who're escaping domestic violence (which BTW does not qualify for asylum).
The M$M isn't about to break the narrative that they're trying to establish ("The poor poor migrant!!") by interviewing any of the many strapping young men who're planning to rush the border or cross illegally as soon as they get the chance, because that's not part of the propaganda that they're trying to push.
That's why I posted some on-the-ground tweets that you will never see from the M$M: To give you a more realistic view of events and people.
Yanno, maybe these lawbreaking young men are the problem in Honduras (or wherever they come from), and they're just bringing their Central American problems with them. Why would we want to import them?
Like whining that whenever you go to a bar, you hate that they serve alcohol, or at restaurants you hate that they serve food. Did you know that at Bowling Alleys there are people bowling? Skate Parks have kids skating? Sports Stadiums have sports being played, and their fanatics?

Those pictures were just posted today so how have you had the time to see what "the M$M" is promoting? Did you see CNN this morning or their web site??? That's a real question. Also, I listened to NPR's take on the topic on the same day, which consistently misrepresented the makeup of the caravan, and soft-pedaled the lawbreaking intent of some of the migrants.

That's exactly what I'm saying! Think it through - if those employers have to pay more, honest wages then they'll have to make up for that.... where? In the cost of goods and services. Eureka. It's all connected. Pay fair wages and everyone pays more for milk and cable, you move one thing up and it moves other things up at the same time. So which do you want on your salary? I'll take fair wages every day. Consumers tend to leave themselves out of the equation.
Some people have a distorted and incomplete view of economics, Budgeting, funding.
They don't understand that Government is overhead, the ginormous parasite which is larger than the host organism.
Switching from non-tax paying to Taxpaying jobs will help pay for the Government. If there are 30 Million Illegal Aliens, consider how much uncollected Revenue that represents, and how that would change the status of Surplus/Deficit in the Budget each month.
The more that that expense is spread out, the LESS everybody pays. The Rate-of-Pay factor is not as impactful as the changing direction of fund flow from Mexico to IRS. The Taxation rate is more than 50% while transforming what an employer pays for work into what an employee is left with from that pay. You are not talking about doubling the Rate-of-Pay for the most menial of jobs, right?
