I'd just like to share what 1kiki sent to me in an email notification. Yanno, instead of posting it HERE.... because she knows how it would look to be sending people threats on their personal emails, being the 
she is.

Imma say it again, since you can't seem to remember how libel WORKS.
You CANNOT sue libel on an ANONYMOUS ACCOUNT. Maybe if this account were linked by an ACTUAL NAME ....AND maybe to social media....AND maybe if you could prove financial damages....AND maybe if...you could prove I called you something you could prove you AREN'T.
BUT YOU CAN'T, dummy. You have NO FINANCIAL DAMAGES. If you brought a case before a judge and said "Judge, she callin' me names on a website where no one knows my name"
YOU WOULD BE LAUGHED OUT OF THE STATE. And then I would make a motion to counter sue for for any monies it took to get me to said courtroom. And I would win.

You don't have to have suffered any financial damages in order to have a libel lawsuit.
However, I do believe you are right that you can't sue for libel if you're using an anonymous handle. I've said so before a few times. I'm not a lawyer though, so what do I know. I don't think you have anything to worry about.

I'm not going to forward you the email I got from my lawyer - you'll need to get your own to tell you what kind of trouble you're in. Suffice to say that it's a law firm that specializes in INTERNET libel. And until you actually talk to a lawyer that specializes in INTERNET libel, you shouldn't feel so confident about what you presume you know.
I'm doing you a favor. I'm giving you a heads up. When my schedule frees up, I will have the time to focus my efforts. You don't want me focusing them on you. You don't want to have to spend the time - and money - on defending yourself. Because it's obvious you did post those things, and it's obvious they're libel. What will your defense be?
And what will your family think when they find out who you are?
If you simply STOP LIBELING, I won't pursue legal action. And, realistically, how hard could that be? How hard could it be to NOT do something risky, destructive, heinous, and irrational? How hard could it be to NOT be a libelous troll?

We are all basically anonymous here, and until such time one of us are doxxed I don't belive there is any damages for things that are said here, financially or otherwise.
Haken hasn't removed anyone. I wasn't aware that he had ever even done so in the past, although that has been alleged just recently in another thread. If he has done so, it must have been for truly bad behavior, but it wasn't based off of any political beliefs on either side like some trolls in here cheer on when Facebook or Twitter de-platforms somebody.
Suing somebody, or the threat of a lawsuit itself is just taking censorship into your own hands and taking away the very long leash that Haken has given everybody here.

SIX, there are several schools of thought on how to deal with assholes. In game theory, there is (or was, in any case) a tournament of programmed responses to the "Prisoner's Dilemma" situation which revealed that the overall best program for dealing with assholes was the simplest, and it was called "tit for tat". I think you know what that means. In the case of software, the program started with a cooperative move and then simply echoed the move of the other player after that over many iterations.
Not only did the points for the "tit for tat" player come out ahead, the points for the OTHER players paired with "tit for tat" ALSO came out ahead, because "tit for tat" trained the other players to be more cooperative.
Frankly, I think KIKI and I have gone waaaay beyond "tit for tat". WISHY and the other assholes on the board have been warned more than a few times about where their activities might lead, and - frankly- when I get some free time I'd be more than willing to explore whatever legal action is at my disposal to bring some "consequences" to those don't seem to have enough mental strength to control their inner asshole.
In WISHY'S case... I DIDN'T POST THIS THREAD, DID I? She seems to have a purely dysfunctional response to the real world. Maybe the real world needs to teach her a lesson? That is, if WISHY is capable of learning.

I dunno. I wish I didn't take everything so seriously back when I got bullied in junior high school. Assholes are assholes no matter what the age, but I learned later in life that if you don't show anybody that they're bothering you then they will go be an asshole elsewhere. I still didn't learn that lesson by high school, so instead I worked out and started beating the shit out of people until pretty much everybody left me alone.
It took me many more years to learn this lesson. After you do, at least in my experience, the assholes sometimes aren't even assholes. They are just prone to assholish behavior. It's usually so easy to diffuse that I kick myself for not figuring that out a lot earlier.

I still don't think either of you would have any legitimate case in court. Quite frankly, it would be kind of frightening to find out that you did.

It's not even calling someone a "troll" because that, too, is a matter of opinion. You literally will be ruining what's left of this website if you are even moderately successful in your attempts to inconvenience people IRL by doing this.
The BEST case scenario IMO is that you get laughed out of court and it doesn't go anywhere. Getting progressively worse, you are successful in making people have to fly out to California and obtain expensive legal consul. At this point, I would hope that they not only won the case, but that you and Kiki were ordered to pay for their legal fees, airfare and room and board, and loss of wages while defending themselves.
The WORST case scenario IMO is that you are successful. I can't imagine any world where this wouldn't become a national news story. Hell... we might even get a few of the actors and actresses from Firefly to weigh in on what's gone on here. My guess is they'd condemn the whole damn site over what choice bits would be pulled out of the history of the RWED board and actively voice their disgust for all of us.
At this point, it is very likely that many people who posted here under an anonymous handle would be doxxed, and our real names and pictures shared on the internet along side of remarks that we had made in the past. No matter how old they are or whether we agree with them or not in November of 2018 will matter not in the court of public opinion.

Well... firstly....
You literally will be ruining what's left of this website if you are even moderately successful in your attempts to inconvenience people IRL by doing this.
The BEST case scenario IMO is that you get laughed out of court and it doesn't go anywhere. Getting progressively worse, you are successful in making people have to fly out to California and obtain expensive legal consul. At this point, I would hope that they not only won the case, but that you and Kiki were ordered to pay for their legal fees, airfare and room and board, and loss of wages while defending themselves.
The WORST case scenario IMO is that you are successful. I can't imagine any world where this wouldn't become a national news story. Hell... we might even get a few of the actors and actresses from Firefly to weigh in on what's gone on here. My guess is they'd condemn the whole damn site over what choice bits would be pulled out of the history of the RWED board and actively voice their disgust for all of us.
At this point, it is very likely that many people who posted here under an anonymous handle would be doxxed, and our real names and pictures shared on the internet along side of remarks that we had made in the past. No matter how old they are or whether we agree with them or not in November of 2018 will matter not in the court of public opinion.
In my "special" case, I have literally no clue what I've said here back when I was posting drunk all the time. Some of it must have been really bad since Wishy hates me.
SIX, this site was ruined a long time ago .... at least, the RWE part of it was. Firefly was a different show. It never painted anything or anyone as "all good" or "all bad", but managed to tell a story that attracted southern rebels, but also libertarians, far-leftists (not me, there were people far FAR to my left), military patriots, and liberals (count me as one). Did you know that The Alliance was based on the USA?? I know because Joss Whedon said so himself.
I learned the difference between anarcho-libertarians and corporate-libertarians from FREM and GEEZER. If I wanted to read deeply angry and cynical anti-American-empire screeds all I needed to do was read SUCCOTASH or GINO. RAPPY told me everything there was to know about Rush Limbaugh's take on things. FINN told me about the military. ANTHONY told me about Cuba in his grandfather's day, and the inside story of corrupt lending that led to the cash of 20087. BYTEMITE and DREAMTROVE always found the startling and unexpected insights. And who could forget PIRATE NEWS? It was a wealth of diverse opinions knit together by love of a unique series.
I think that angry people drove this board apart. I was a victim but also a perpetrator. I posted things that I'm not proud of today ... OTOH I'll stack my posts up against THUGR's or SHITHITTHEFAN's and GSTRING's any day. They've gotten to the point where they post NOTHING BUT personal attacks. When a forum gets to that point, it's dead already, and they killed it.
You don't fear this forum being "ruined", what you fear is that the ruin will be exposed to others.
