Wow, that was simply stunning. A work colleague (and fellow Browncoat) told me how good this was, but even after a such a build up, seeing the actual video still floored me. Brilliant work.

After learning of the delayed release date this week I was feeling a bit down but this gave me such a tremendous lift. Think I'll watch the entire series through again this weekend while I'm still on the high

I especially liked the inclusion of the website screen shots; seeing them all in sequence like that really does underline how powerful and prominent our fandom is now. We believe indeed!

Thanks for posting,

Ade

Bingo. That as much as the shots of our BDH really brought the impact home. There is no way I could explain what all that meant to anyone else who didn't understand the pain and anquish we all felt . Sure, showing a web page set to music really makes a statement. LAME But to those of us who know the beauty in that and all that it means and stands for ....(sniff) it's Shiny!

Well I am officially admitting defeat in that area.

So...DVD Rippers, which one do you use? As I've downloaded a few that you can get free trials on, and they haven't worked, said they couldnt locate my DVD. You don't need a special drive or anything do you?

Sorry for all the questions! I just don't wanna give up!

first off, nice vid!

second, PR, give DVDshrink a shot. It's free, and it's worked pretty well for me so far. It's at http://www.dvdshrink.org You just need a DVD-ROM drive. The clips will take up a lot of space, though, so if you have a DVD-R, that's helpful.

good luck!

Thank you very much, that systems great.

But...(sorry!) for some reason Windows Movie Maker won't accept my DVD Rips! Shouldn't it? Technically?

Should I maybe download another Vieo-Making program? As WMM seems to be more of a hindrance than any help!

WCR Thank you, that was absolutely SHINY!!
Now I know how I'll feel when I see the BDM trailer [screaming and crying]. I just hope I don't embarrass my husband too badly.

uh...I thought so. I'm very new at this too, so I pretty much reached the end of my brilliance with 'dvdshrink is good.' sorry.

I don't know what kind of editing software is out there really, I thought I'd give WMM a shot first to see if I liked it.

http://www.craisie.com/id18.htm has got some really great tutorials that might help out. The one on WMM might be able to answer some questions.

sorry I'm not more help :(
