There is a nice map of Europe that shows most countries never used electronic voting. Some ran pilot programs then discontinued it. Germany went nationwide and then discontinued it. Only France and Estonia continue.

Germany ended electronic voting in 2009, with the German Federal Constitutional Court finding that the inability to have meaningful public scrutiny meant that electronic voting was unconstitutional. Does Trump care about Germany? No, it would call into question his election.
On February 21, 2017 the working group studying Internet voting for Finland launched, with a target date for completion of its work of November 30, 2017. The working group recommended against Internet voting, concluding that the risks outweighed the benefits. Does Trump care about Finland? No, it would call into question his election.

In West Virginia, the probability of dying in middle age has increased from about 9 percent to 11 percent. In New York it’s decreased from 9 percent to less than 6 percent.
It’s easy to look at this chart and notice that it’s mostly red states that have gone downhill. And that makes you wonder why they keep voting for Republicans. Why not vote for Democrats who take health care more seriously? This seems like absurd behavior until you look at it from a different angle: a lot of people in red states see (and live through) stuff like this and conclude that government doesn’t work. That being the case, why not vote for the party that says it wants to reduce government?

Red state residents continue to vote for low taxes, low services, and Republican government, even though this wreaks havoc with their health. Then they get all bitter and angry because their health is bad and nobody pays attention to their woes, so they vote for Republicans some more. That’s quite the amazing feedback loop.

It would also call into question both of Obama's elections, as well as GWB and thousands upon thousands of lower level elections all the way down to local alderman.
I agree 100% that electronic voting needs to end. There's no reason to present it like this though. All you're doing is almost ensuring that anybody who voted for Trump is just going to tune you out.

Where was the Democrat's concern over voting machines during 8 years of Obama?
I'm assuming that it was the same place that their concerns over the Electoral College was during that time.
That's one of the huge problems with you Democrats. You bitch and whine constantly about this stuff when you're losing, but when you're winning you forget completely about it.
1. I agree 100% that voting should not be done on machines.
2. I agree that something should be done to modernize the electoral college. I won't go as far as to say we should have a popular vote, but the current model is outdated and doesn't make any sense anymore.

Orwell described the source of the idea of setting the book on a farm: I saw a little boy, perhaps ten years old, driving a huge carthorse along a narrow path, whipping it whenever it tried to turn. It struck me that if only such animals became aware of their strength we should have no power over them, and that men exploit animals in much the same way as the rich exploit the lower classes. 6ixStringJack is lower class. Is he afraid of being beaten like the gullible carthorse in Animal House, then sent to the slaughter house by Napoleon who fooled the other animals into believing that he is getting sent to the hospital? Is that why "Animal Farm was terrifying"?

Erick Erickson caught up with a friend in Congress recently while he was visiting Washington DC. This guy supports Donald Trump in public, but in private he’s—oh, what’s the right word? Disillusioned? Despondent? Boiling over with rage?
Anyway, he told Erickson he needed to vent about Trump, so they strolled down the aisles of a local Safeway and Erickson turned on his recorder:

….If we get to summer and most of the primaries are over, they just might pull the trigger if the President fires Mueller. The sh*t will hit the fan if that happens and I’d vote to impeach him myself. Most of us would, I think. Hell, all the Democrats would and you only need a majority in the House.
