all those plastic bags in the ocean and empty bottles, some say it now comes from India, China, Nigeria...the USA is a lesser polluter in this area than say 'developing' nations...will the US some how use this as an option to hit back...use a Pollution Tax on other nations ???

Prediction Trump will have to change his tune on Climate Change...not sure maybe floods, hurricane, drought? he will change his tune even if he wants to or not

Of all the claims spouted forth regarding The HPSCI Staff Memo, none posted in this thread, none captured. Can't really be surprised at the bias, at this point.

This was based on the idea that the one child policy as well as the difference poor conditions for the blue collar class would eventually lead to widespread discontent.

This may still happen, as ethnic minorities are still discouraged from having children, but it's less likely now that they've loosened restrictions on the majority Han group.

I predict that the rest uv the world will be looking into limiting population within a few decadez az the ecosystem colapsez under the wate uv our fat greedy assez.

If we are unbelievably lucky, sumwun, probably an AI, will invent antigravity and we can start colonizing Marz and heading out to the starz. Otherwize the population problem will solve itself in sum very unplezent wayz.

But don't do it 'cause "Earth can't support us."
We're not using half the resources we have.

We will soon get much better at farming the Seas.
