At least that dragon knows what he ate yesterday. He's having a better meal than this elephant....

Thanks second. I recall a popup showing up last year incase there were problems with the site. If you clicked on it it opened up an email you could send. I forget to who but it was an agency. It did not refer us to Haken. I thought the site was sold at that point.
Do you or anyone else recall this and if so, do you know what that was about?
Found it...

That sounds like Haken himself was paying a third party to manage any issues with a site that would categorize and keep track of any of the issues on his website. I doubt very much the 3rd party actually did any work on the site or anything else other than providing users that button and whatever forms would pop up if you clicked it.
I'm assuming at this point that he just let the contract lapse without renewing it once member participation here steadily dropped to next to nothing. Hopefully the reboot comes out someday and brings people back.

I did click on it. It brought up an email connection to some agency if I remember correctly. Just saying, not caring much. But it would change things if someone other than Haken now owned the site.

Yeah. I don't think anybody else owns or ever did own it. I think it's been Haken all the time, but he was just paying this 3rd party agency to handle some of his workload maintaining the site. Actually, I don't get the idea that they actually did any of the website maintenance, but they organized any problems and suggestions made by members that would make it easier for him to get to them based on importance.
I can't say any of this for sure, but I'm just going based off of one of his replies in the thread you linked:

No. That's something else I'm trying. I plan to work on the site a lot more and I thought that implementing a ticketing system to help me keep track of things would help me get things done in a more timely manner.

I also said earlier that he might have let the contract lapse when membership was down. There is no basis for me saying that. I don't remember this button at all myself and have no idea how long it was on the site. It is also possible that Haken tried out this service for a month or two without getting into a long contract and found that it wasn't as helpful as he thought it might be and just decided to cancel it.
