But pertaining to the fishing expedition from Mueller, about topics Banner is not authorized to discuss, he cannot discuss what he is expressly forbidden to discuss, or else he would be violating Federal Law. Just the sort of trap Mueller is slaving to create - to get innocent people to violate the myriad of tricky laws within the structure of Mueller's fishing expedition.

Steve Bannon's attorney relayed questions, in real time, to the White House during a House Intelligence Committee interview of the former Trump chief strategist. That's according to people familiar with the closed-door session who spoke to The Associated Press on condition of anonymity because they were not authorized to speak publicly.
During the day-long interview Tuesday, Bannon's attorney Bill Burck was asking the White House counsel's office by phone whether his client could answer the questions. He was told by that office not to discuss his work on the transition or in the White House.

It's interesting what Gowdy says about Bannon. I though he and Trump couldn't wait to testify. You know, to set the record straight. The problem Bannon and Trump now face is that they can't lie, or spin. If they do they go to jail. It's time to put up or shut up. Well, they shut up.
